And thus the Biblical pattern for God's people during times of tribulation has been to do what?

I don't see where Tom condemned you, nor anyone else to hell. I think you well know only our Lord Jesus has Authority to condemn a soul to hell. I'm sure Tom knows that too. Your attempts at attacking one's credibility only point to your lack of Scripture study, for if you really could prove a...

Excellent job, but I offer something to consider about the mortal body idea... What exactly is meant by that "mortal bodies"? 1 Cor 15:53-54 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption...

That underlined part should raise the most red flags. Those are signs of following the world. People can change. For many, it takes a pretty traumatic experience to change from old habits. I'd recommend you stay as friends only until finding out if she is able to discipline herself. It takes a...

1. The "idea" of government is not sinful. Christ's Government is the Perfect Pattern. 2. The form of government of the United States of American is a Constitutional Republic. It is a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, as written in the Preamble. Others may call it...

My ancestors were French Huguenots of 16th century Europe that fled France because of persecution by Catholics. I have many friends today that are Catholics, and even they know better than to accept the Ecumenism that's going on within the Catholic Church. If they keep the Faith, they'll either...

Eph 6:10-18 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against...

I understand what you're saying, like the two groups of John 17. I see them both as being sealed by God's sealing for the end though. And I see both groups coming under the same tribulations as a whole. Note our Lord said in John 17:21 that both were to become 'one' in Him.

I suppose you don't realize that you've just admitted that you're not smart enough to understand what you read in God's Word. And not only that, but by your last statement you're saying that your Bible understanding is based on assumption and speculation. It's no wonder then that you've been...

Yeah, I didn't continue about Paul's mention of all Israel being saved in final. I didn't go into that part. But I still believe he only meant those of Israel that believe, as we all must believe on The Father through His Son Jesus Christ to be saved. Yep. I agree and understand that. Have...

Something disturbing in that post is the claim that the 7th Trumpet marks the end of the 1,000 years, which I must assume is applied to Christ's "thousand years" reign of Rev.20. Rev 20:1-7 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain...

I can respect that. But it doesn't mean I won't post in opposition with Scripture for the sake of other brethren. May God bless.

Quite a few examples in God's Word of how He takes the mocker's own mocking, and turns it around against them. For you, it will probably be the same.

I have provided on this forum the Scripture proof of how those quotes have been chopped out of the chapter's context, several times. So I suspect you are challenging me to debate it, which is OK if that's what you want. "37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of...

All you're showing is your taking sides with those who push the falsehood that they have been mistreated here for pushing the pre-trib rapture theory. And yes, those who hold to the pre-trib rapture theory are in danger, because there are many Scriptures given that show Christ's return and our...

What rjp is pointing out that's different than all the previous ideas of man about the coming antichrist is how an actual fake messiah is coming first with power to do miracles and wonders on a level so strong in delusion, that it would deceive even Christ's elect, if it were possible for them...

Then by your Faith and His given proof to you of His ability to protect should strengthen you in order to make a stand for Him in the evil day.

And right after that 1 Thessalonians 4 comfort, Paul gave the following comfort to mark the correct timing of the 1 Thess.4 events... 1Thes 5:1-11 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so...

Yeap! That's a keeper. Good work.
