Why I Am a Trinitarian: Part Two

One reason Jesus is NOT the LORD God almighty is he is not once described this way in Scripture. The term "LORD" is exclusively used for God's personal name YHWH and is NEVER applied to Jesus.

Why I Am a Trinitarian: Part Two

Such apologies reveal a fascination with the number 3. There is no theological reason presented for 3. The apology begins out of the blue by thinking of 3 as the apology unfolds.

    Spotting Heretics

No. Everyone thinks they hold truths that are biblical. "Heresy" is a secondary concept, rooted in relating one thing to another. So, pretending you hold the keys to biblical truth and everyone who has different beliefs is a heretic is what drives the passion of Christians to persecute other...

The Chosen video series-- any fans?

Great show! Can't wait for Season 3. For Xmas, I got a painting of the iconic scene where Mary collapsed into Jesus. Extra-biblical scene in Season 1 where Jesus quoted Is 43:1. She went by the name Lilith in her demon possessed life. Ready to kill herself, a man at the bar put his hand gently...

    Spotting Heretics

Spotting heretics is easy. 1st, by definition, a heretic is one who holds beliefs you don't. Everyone is fighting to assert theirs is the standard belief by which everyone else is to be compared - and deemed a nasty sounding word, 'heretic,' if they don't align. Christian history does not...

Here's some data on John 10:33

No. The Gospel of John does not say this. However, neither does 1 John 5:7. The Trinity Delusion: 1 John 5:7

No, that's not what it is called. Whose voice said this is my son? Not a cooperative.

Nonsense. What you have bold and underlined is an idol, a man-made fabrication not found in Scripture. It is important to recognize the colorful language of Scripture does not say God was made incarnate, only his words. This fulfills what God said he would do in Debt 18:15-18.

Why I Am a Trinitarian: Part One

I suspect untold billions over the Millenia did not come to Christ because of the trinitarianism. In a thread a while back, I had a poll of what is more important, bring people to Christ OR get people to accept the trinity. It was a bust. Trinitarians cling to their idol over the Great...

I’m in a strange place: very conservative, but not Christian

We are not talking about god but your belief in Pew research as the source of truth WHILE denying even the notion of truth. You have much faith in Atheism but are no skeptic. Again, I leave you to your mystical contradictions.

Here's some data on John 10:33

If the world was created by Jesus, that would destroy the concept of the trinity, wouldn’t it?

I’m in a strange place: very conservative, but not Christian

You claim to be skeptic but are an atheist. The question was Do you have faith in your fellow man?

True and irrelevant. Existence is an absolute.

I’m in a strange place: very conservative, but not Christian

Really? Did you pray to God to guide you in understanding it? You have way more faith than I do.

I’m in a strange place: very conservative, but not Christian

The moral of God commanding Abraham to sacrifice his son is mystical at all. It’s a simple matter of priorities.

Why I Am a Trinitarian: Part One

    I didn’t say that. I said I wonder how.

Why I Am a Trinitarian: Part One

Quibbling?! The man-is-god thesis goes back to The Original Sin. Eve and Adam, humans, sought to make themselves god. The same of trinitarians. They seek to make a man Jesus. Inherent in trinitarianism is contradiction upon contradiction. No. Neither can be AND definitions, logic, language...

Why I Am a Trinitarian: Part One

The contradictory twists of this doctrine make me wonder how in the world could a modern, educated person who grasps reading comprehension embrace it.

Here's some data on John 10:33

The truth is the opposite. It is absurd that trinitarians demand word means a person rather than an attribute of a Being/person. In the beginning, God said, 'let there be light." Very famous. The idea that another 'person' must say that because the all-powerful, God our Father cannot speak is...
