I have wine all the time. I just had some on Friday night when I was at dinner with my wife.

Thanks.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Just a note to everybody on this forum - get your blood pressure checked. My niece was 43 and had a massive stroke and hemorrhaged from the brain stem. She was brain dead in two days.

Thanks. Actually - I think that's the day of the funeral . . .

Understand that when Paul mentions "Works of the LAW" - he is speaking of the Mosaic Law. Of course nobody is saved by works of the Mosaic Law.

OSAS is a false Protestant doctrine. I'm a Catholic who rejects this man-made hoax.

I've been at the hospital for the last couple of days. My niece died and I haven't had time to catch up here.

Thanks Helen - that's all I wanted. In over 2300 posts - NOBODY has put it as kindly and succinctly as you have with your usual charity and grace. That being said - NONE of the verses you presented say anything about losing our secure place with God. I have repeatedly posted almost a dozen...

Here is what 1 Pet. 1:5 says in CONTEXT, Einstein: 1 Pet. 1:3-55 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil...

Your comment above in RED is indicative of backwards logic. God doesn't take after US - WE take after HIM. Anthropomorphism is man's attempt to reason those things that are supernatural - not God's attempt to reason the natural.

Every baptized Catholic who is of age and in a state of grace can partake in the Eucharist. Not sure what you mean by "Romanists". I don't know what they believe.

Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. Deuteronomy 32:11 "Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, That hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions. Psalm...

Because I'm NOT the one who believes in that garbage - YOU do. I've been asking YOU guys for over 2000 posts to show me where the BIBLE teaches OSAS - and NOBODY has been able to do that . . .

As long as we cooperate with God's grace (Matt. 7:21-23, Matt. 23:37, Matt. 25:31–46, Luke 13:34, Rom. 8:28, 2 Cor. 6:1, Rev. 3:15-16) - we WILL dwell in the House of the Lord forever.

If you're talking about following listing - your failure is an ignorance of not only Scripture - but of its linguistic implications. Matt. 7:19-23 - A reference to sheep (believers) and wolves (nonbelievers). WRONG. Verses 15-10 are talking about false PROPHET. Verses 21-23 are talking about...

How dense ARE you?? I already explained that to you as I would to a small child. I said: Initial salvation. Maintaining salvation through enduring faith. Final salvation. Here is an even simpler explanation: - You're drowning in a storm at sea (lost in sin). -A boat comes by to rescue you and...

Ummmm, first of all, Einstein - "slander" is spoken. "Libel" is written. Secondly - you cannot be acused of EITHER for attacking an idea. Do your homework . . . That's a GREAT question. Based on WHICH verses do YOU believe in OSAS?? Thanks for bringing that up . . . Sooooo, show me which...

That doesn't answer the question. Now - the Bible says that Gis has wings and feathers like a bird. Do YOU believe that God has wings and feathers - OR, are they merely symbolic (anthropomorphic).

First of all - Catholics ARE Christians. As to why we don't allow non-Catholics to receive - it's because you call it "wine" . . .

They just couldn't handle what He was telling them, so the left Him (John 6:66). They were the first Protestants . . .
