Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

This is going to have to wait till tomorrow. You chose a couple of the top. For now... Reread Romans 8:29 What were we predestined for? We were predestined but for what??. It's a hellish doctrine, yes. Think of it. If God predestined some for salvation... What did He predestine the others for...

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

Are you a theologian? Do the letters PhD appear after your name? It's not necessary for me to read what you wrote. Predestination is a doctrine right out of hell. And I'm not one to speak of hell.... So before I say anything else, Drop a couple of verses tomorrow morning and we'll go through...

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

What we do we're to do with the heart. I just hear too many say that we don't have to do anything because Jesus did it all.... This is not right.

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

I understand very well. You said one should give in proportion to what they have. You're getting me mixed up with another poster.

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

Am I your girlfriend? Oh. You called me sweetheart... So... Could you please tell me who first thought up the idea of double predestination? Perhaps tomorrow you could show me where the NT teaches this.? It's midnight here right now... I do agree that God is sovereign, of course. But I'm a...

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

Actually, the NT teaches to give joyfully, not in proportion to what we have. If I give a lot, but not joyfully, it is of no good value to God. 2 Corinthians 9:7

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

I agree. I just hope you're not calvinistic in nature. I must say, though, that everyone is living under different circumstances, and everyone has had their own walk with God and we cannot put our standards on others. God wants different things from different persons. I'm good with the word...

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

Are you saying that God chose me to be saved?

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

Unfortunately, it's Yes. If we want to live in the Kingdom, here, then we do have to follow the rules of the kingdom.

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

You're basing this on Mathew 25. It's legitimate. It's good if you can do it. What if a person cannot? For whatever reason. Can we trust God to know that we're doing what we can? And how do we know if we're doing something because we're functioning under the law Or because we're following the...

Every Believer Must Do Good Works and Proclaim the Gospel, Some Are Called to Teach

Sorry Christiang, I don't usually check out links. I like to hear what we have to say as to what we believe in our very own words. So to make it easier for you, I'll tell you what I think good works are. Before we become saved, we do works all the time. But we do them for ourselves or others...

I think I agree. I'm not sure. What do you mean by good works?

There is almost zero in here that looks anything like Christ

Sometimes you sound so worldy. Sometimes you sound so innocent. Chances are that SHE will want to dispute... NOT ME!!!

Right. But I wasn't speaking of AUTHORITY. I was speaking of a CIVIL society. It was not civil under the mean guy. Ralph?

God will win in the end. His plan will be victorious. But if you put me and a gang girl in a room, who will win?

Where's that??? Right, on the rest.

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

You're saying a lot, but I'm not sure what it is. The living essence must be the breath of life that God gave to Adam. To me the spark is life is when we become born again and we become truly alive. Jesus IS the spark of life. By dividing the bad and the good you mean to choose to follow...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Well KBC, I've learned a lot from man. So far, it all agrees with scripture. If it doesn't I leave the man, not the scripture. Spark of love... I like to say that Jesus gives us the spark of life. We're not truly alive until we know Him and makes us free.
