    Is Jesus the only Way?

I don't know about all the rest, but I did start my blog here earlier today. I found what I had written about 10 years ago to initiate a blog on another forum. The actual blog on that forum seemingly has been dropped [deleted] but I had saved it to my computer.

    Is Jesus the only Way?

I won't say I won't but it is unlikely that I will...put you on ignore that is. Before you let your head swell up I must say that I have never put anyone on this forum on ignore... although I do purposely not read the posts of some people... or at least not usually. I won't name any of those if...

Laughing at Me is a starting place

laughing at me People laugh at people. Laughing at others of course can cause pain, but laughing at ourselves is often one of the best things we can do for the benefit of others and for ourselves. The scripture says, "Every way of a man is right in his own eyes..." [Prov 21:2], but it also...

    Laughing at Me

How does a person live for God instead of for self? Many people have ideas on this but what is it that God says about it? How do we encounter Him to know? Can we do this in and of ourselves? Hopefully what is written in the Scriptures will come to our mind when we think about these things.

    Is Jesus the only Way?

How does one get "in Christ" so that there is definitely no longer an "if"? Was anyone described in the OT ever "in Christ"? Cristovß Christos (khris-tos'); Word Origin: Greek, Adjective, Strong #: 5547 Christ = "anointed" Christ was the Messiah, the Son of God anointed KJV Word Usage and...

    Is Jesus the only Way?

If we can understand it much can be found in the three levels of creatures saved in the Ark built by Noah at God's direction. All were saved, but what does that [saved] mean? Two types of beasts [unclean and clean] and then those 8 people on top of the heap? I have seen a lot, or so I thought...

    Is Jesus the only Way?

God was the Creator of everything and everyone... which includes all of the Gentiles/heathens as well as the children of Jacob. This is why we see all of these types and shadows not only in the written Bible [Scripture or Writings] but in other places such as the Code of Hammurabi. To sift...

    Is Jesus the only Way?

Before "Nehushtan" was mentioned it was to the carnal eye a brass statuette, but really for eyes able to see it was already the power of God as later to be seen in Jesus was manifested [even if they were unable to say His Name]. People were healed of their poisonous bites. But many years later...

    Is Jesus the only Way?

Yes, with Jesus we start and must finish. If along the way, perhaps unbeknownst to us, we trade the original in for only a brass statuette, have we moved then into delusion?

    Is Jesus the only Way?

But grow we must... if we are to be like Jesus: "And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him." Luke 2:40 "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." Luke 2:52 "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and...

    Coffee Shop (let's chat)

This is where we are also Helen. I spoke of Prime Rib but even to prepare it yourself it is very expensive. Once in a while my wife buys a good steak for us, but the Prime Rib awaits most of the time for an unexpected check in the mail. Being retired that is not a common thing. Hamburger is a...

    Coffee Shop (let's chat)

Ah yes, for me the Yorkshire pudding is a rarity but a delight. I used to have it once in a while when I lived in California [I moved away from there in 1985.] My wife obtained a recipe and now makes it on the few and far between occasions when we can afford Prime Rib [not roast beef] to go with...

    The greatest lie on earth

When you really come searching for the truth with the right purpose, I may attempt to answer this and other questions you may have, but for now I will give you just this one verse which will lead you the right way… if you sincerely ask God for help as you surrender to Him: "But without faith it...

    Is Jesus the only Way?

The only way it ever can really make "sense" to a man would be when that man has gone as you say, "step by steppers...". We read and we study and alone we still will never understand unless somewhere in us there is a hunger and thirst for His righteousness. "Blessed are they which do hunger...

    The greatest lie on earth

No, the new man needs to be killing the old man until he is finally and completely dead never to rise again. This is also seen in the dying daily of which Paul writes "And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily." I Cor...

    The greatest lie on earth

Read all about it in the NT in the writing of Paul... and elsewhere as well: "If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed...
