"Christianity is a Jewish cult?" Never heard that one before. (Must be from the Judeo-Christian term many throw around. I'll show how that doesn't fit either further below). The only REAL way to recognize a 'cult' that claims to be Christian, is to stay in God's Word to learn the difference...

It's really a lot deeper than that Aspen. The events in this world are going to happen the way God shows in His Word, and none can sidestep what He has already ordained. This is why I try to understand the political according to how God's Word reveals it, so I'm able to witness His Word and The...

Did you mean to add the idea of a 'rapture' into that Rev.12:12 verse? Can't do that, and here's why... Rev 12:10-12 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is...

Well, either you are grossly deceived, or... you have come here to push doctrines of men contrary to God's Word, simply because without first understanding that the 70 weeks prophecy given to Daniel is BASED ON 7 YEAR TIME DIVISIONS, one can't even begin... to interpret the prophecy as written...

That's good that you agree with the problem of a Pre-trib secret rapture, but I still cannot accept the idea that if one doesn't speak in 'tongues' then they have not received The Holy Spirit. That kind of requirement is not Biblical. In 1 Cor.12-14, Paul showed that manifesting of "divers kinds...

Guy, don't you remember our Lord Jesus said He 'shortened' the time for the sake of His elect? (Matt.24). The 1260 days thus represents a symbolic 'period' now. The tribulation has been shortened, but to what? If you're in Rev.12, then you went past it.

Your interpretation on that usage of "remnant" is not correct. Follow the SUBJECT. Rev 12:15-17 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. The serpent casts a flood out of his 'mouth' to attack the...

John, I agree there are some denominations that say The Holy Spirit doesn't work today as in the days of Christ's Apostles anymore. I was raised in a Church that taught that, but I don't believe it. I very much believe The Holy Spirit still manifests within Christ's Body today as in the days of...

I'm not pushing any "spin" on what I'm saying brother. Hal Lindsay with his earlier work like The Late Great Planet Earth was about supporting a false Pre-trib "secret rapture" idea. It was doom & gloom in order to create fear to want to escape the tribulation altogether, and thus believe on the...

That Psalms 78 example is about Israel's early history, not their latter history. Ps 78:67-68 67 Moreover He refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim: 68 But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which He loved. (KJV) God chose Mount Zion to dwell, and He set...

You're still doing a bit of far reaching Guy, in trying to prove your theories about the Rev.12 events. The man Child in Rev.12:5 is about Christ, pointing to the Seed of the Woman per Gen.3:15. For it is Christ that was born of the woman (Israel) Who also is to rule over all nations with a rod...

The "man child" reference in Rev.12:5 is actually about Christ's Birth. Rev 12:1-5 1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and...

The 'place' the woman is fed is not a literal place, but a spiritual place. The spiritual place to be is with not being deceived by the coming false messiah. Only that "remnant" of the woman will not be deceived. This is why the dragon will specifically seek to make war upon that remnant of...

Yes, I realize the possibility of the world controllers (locusts) allowing the use of such a weapon on a limited basis, all the more to cement their charade upon the masses. If the majority came to the truth, I doubt the locusts would think twice about using some surprise to make them get back...

And that prophecy is connected to the Ezekiel 17 prophecy God gave to the "house of Israel" (ten tribes of Israel that were scattered to Assyria and the lands of the Medes, and who trekked westward into Europe as the Cimmerian and Scythian peoples).

Scholar, or no scholar, both can equally be deceived. Apostle Paul was an excellent Biblical scholar of the Old Testament, having been brought up by one of the best Hebrew scholars of his day (Gamaliel - Acts 22:3; Acts 5:34). And look how deceived Paul (Saul) was originally, even participating...

I certainly don't agree with many things you've posted in other threads, especially the politics thread, but I'm forced to agree with you on this matter. That is exactly Paul's Message of the struggle for those in Christ during this world. It is a 'war'. We win many battles, and we lose some...

I wonder how many of the unsaved decided they'd had enough of trying to go it alone in life, and decided to start going to a Church and found Salvation through Christ Jesus? How many might one think has done that? You bet the Church is for the sinner also. In the Christian west that...

If you feel called to do the work of an evangelist, then preach The Gospel, for that's what the duty of an evangelist is. Apostle Paul is a major example. Some of the greatest success stories with preaching The Gospel in our era is with Christian missionaries in foreign countries. In the...

[/b]Something very wrong with the Bible Belt? That sounds just like what some New England socialist self-elitist left-wing yankee would say. It even sounds like what an orthodox Phariseic Jew that hates Christianity would say, and many of those just happen to live in New England, especially in...
