I have done this beginning many years ago to write an autobiography on the computer. Included in it or attached in related writings are the stories I have recalled from older family members as they were told to me. I wish that I had taken more interest when I was younger. By the time I started...

You along with many in science presume a lot. What you say is so in a measure. Not every follower of science or of religion or of God is arrogant and not all of them in any category are always correct. You say that supernatural explanations have gone away. I would say that some of those...

Don't read more into it than what is there.

Talk to them about your early years. That history is yours and if you don't tell them how it is was, likely they will never know or understand!

Perhaps it is because men as they have developed have become more full of themselves than ever previously.

Absolutely! Coca Cola that quite popular drink over the decades may indeed be worse for a person than beer taken in the same quantity... Lost in my computer someplace is a study on it sent to me by a friend several years ago.

@Not me Welcome to the forum!

Believe it or not my friend the Bible does NOT specifically forbid the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Perhaps the strongest verses in this regard would be these: "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;" Eph 5:18 "For the time past of our life may...

And you add to scripture to so limit God.

Are you seeing what Michal saw rather than what God saw? "Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one...

Thank you my friend. I would not mind if you would expound a bit on your post #51, but not on the public forum. If you have time or incentive send it via PM. Thanks

Thank you for this. Quite a few years ago I was looking for dictionary of the King James Bible English usages. I forget now the name of the book I found on the Internet, but it was completely out of print. What I found and purchased instead was this: "The Language of the King James Bible"...

So... you have decided!
