Indeed, the very word, Christian, does not mean to many people today a follower or disciple of Jesus... or if it does, they really do not understand who or what Jesus was or is according to the scriptures in any case.

You had a SIN marry into your family? How did that work out?

Too little too late... not to mention the critters that would get into my pool which always had the high extra chemical content to keep it looking nice as well as swimmable and should have made it repugnant to them. Huge volumes of earthworms I had to regularly skim out with a net. Water...

Who is supposed to be reading the scriptures, any of them? Only Apostles? Are all of the ministers and priests and saints who do read the scriptures today apostles? Should not any who are not apostles ceased to read? Who is that the Comforter is to comfort? Only the apostles or everyone who...

Yes, there are certainly some of those and some even who said that source of the Truth's power was through the chief devil: "And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils...

My wife has tried several different over the counter products which usually work for her, but not for me. Actually when I sleep, I sleep well using a bipap machine, but that is not my present problem. My problem is waking up after 3 or 5 or 7 hours of sleep and really needing more rest. Once I...

The wording you use rings no particulars bells, but I did search and came up with these which seem to relate to the idea: “For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;” II Cor 1:13 Paul is speaking to believers...

Yeah that certainly is my bad. I copied the right verse, but then when I inserted the chapter and verse, I put in the wrong numbers. I am still a very fallible man. There are good reasons I would guess as well as bad reasons for mistakes like this happening. God makes no mistakes... but me...

Rather the scripture confirms that Jesus is Truth. No where is it written that trinity is truth. You should not rephrase what is written or add to what is written in order to make it better fit your own beliefs. If your beliefs were correct, there would be no need! "Jesus saith unto him, I am...

@CoreIssue "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." II Tim 2:15 Study the scriptures by all means not to learn, but rather so that God will approve of you and your efforts. That is obedience in order to please God...

And what is it that you definitely know and what is it that is definitely more important than those things? "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am...

So then forget about the thief on the cross for you which you also followed the pattern of the Pharisees to build up a smoke screen against the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not blind, but you presume with regard to the Holy Spirit and quench instead of allowing yourself to be led. You have...

But the understanding of the scriptures by a man who has not yet overcome the world as Jesus overcame the world remains incomplete. What is it that Jesus said we are to do with what we have and why? "But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few...

How much time and knowledge does a person require to grow and to change? How much time and knowledge did the so-called good thief dying on the cross next to Jesus have to obtain a favorable result from Jesus? How much apparently devilish work did Saul/Paul accomplish in how much time and how...

No, rather I do not embrace the Trinity, a doctrine explained in many very different ways by different people and/or groups of people. To reject something is to deny the possibility. I have never rejected the Trinity nor called it an impossibility. I try not to ever flatly deny what I do not...

I can certainly confirm this based on my experiences. They carry a Book of Mormon and a KJV Bible. Different missionaries are different. Most of those I met were very sincere young people really wishing to help people who wanted and needed the help that only God can give. Yes, they had an...

And perhaps this conclusion would mean something to people rooted in the civilized ways and technology of men, but what does it and should it mean to people rooted and grounded in Love/God? "That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his...

Since when do the scriptures search anyone? Can you quote a verse that says such a thing? Are the scriptures a separate Living entity or even a Living part of God? My Bibles ...and I own several... have never searched anyone nor have they ever saved anyone. The written scriptures [any verses...
