Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

WRONG. You are conflating Redemption with Salvation. Everybody who ever lived and ever WILL live has been redeemed (paid for) by christ. NOT all will be saved. As for this mythical "Rapture" that you speak of - Scripture NEVER says that born again believers will be "caught up" or "pulled out"...

Yup - He PAID for our sins. That part IS done. The part that ISN'T done is your final condition . . .

Translation: "You've backed me into a corner that I just can't get out of so I'll respond with idiotic insults instead." That's what I thought . . .

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

That's not what the Bible says . . . Romans 11:22 “See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you REMAIN in his kindness; otherwise you to will be cut off.” Paul is warning the faithful to REMAIN in God’s favor or they will...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

WRONG. Paul NEVER speaks of this as being a Pre-Tribulation event. You can speak ALL day long about the Latin and the Greek for "caught up" - but it is irrelevant when it comes to the relatively NEW doctrine of a Pre-Tribulation event. This event takes place AT the 2nd Coming of Christ at the...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

James 2:19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder. I believe that answers the question. And they WILL be saved - ad long as they don't fall away. Matt. 24:13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. No, it doesn't. Why would you say that...

Really? WHERE does Scripture make this claim?? Why are you afraid to answer the question??

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

And this goes back to the fallacy that ONLY Protestant theologians of the last two or three hundred years are qualified to interpret Scripture - damning 1800 years of Christianity to Hell. Mary IS the Ark of the NEW Covenant. She is the fulfillment of the OT type that was the wooden box, laden...

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

Wrong - I don't have any person "disdain" for Kung. I feel sorry for him. I simply recognize a dissident when I read one - and so does the Church. Now - when are YOU going to address some of the Protestant scholars that I presented - just as YOU demanded that I address Kung's drivel?

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

NONSENSE. John 14:28 "You heard me say, 'I am GOING AWAY and I am COMING BACK to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am GOING TO the Father, for the Father is greater than I. Jesus LEFT and returned to the Father - and will com BACK for us. The Holy Spirit stays with us as does...

Nice dodge but you didn't answer the question. Where does a faithful soul go after the body dies?

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Thanks for another cowardly non-answer. You have not addressed my questions because you stuck your foot in your mouth regarding your position that there was NO sin prior to the Law. God destroyed the world with the flood because of sin. But, according to YOU - there was NO sin yet because the...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

And the veil is over yours if you believe in a Pre-Tribulation "Rapture". This myth was concocted by men like John Nelson Darby in the 1830s. This has never been a teaching OR a belief of the historic Christian faith. None of your Protestant Fathers believed in this nonsense because it is...

Humor me. Just address them and give me YOUR interpretation.
  16. BreadOfLife

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

You're missing the point. Christians DO grieve when a loved one dies - so did Jesus. The difference is that Christians have a HOPE for their deceased loved one that they are with the Lord in Heaven - just as Scripture tells us. What do YOU think happens to a faithful servant who dies? As for...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

I wasn't talking about those who don't repent. As a Catholic, I understand that repentance is crucial for salvation. I'm talking about the fact that Scripture is adamantly clear that born again Christians can fall away and be lost. As I have presented on numerous posts on this thread -...

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

The false doctrine of Perspecuity of Scripture - that it interprets itself is the reason we have tens of thousands of disjointed and perpetually-splintering Protestant sects - ALL teaching different doctrines based on different ideas of what that "self-interpretation" is.

Soooooo, what about the other verses I presented? Why are you so afraid to address them?

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

Sorry - but you have missed the point of Rev. 12:1. The Woman in Rev. 12:1 is the description of the ARK in the previous verse (Rev.11:19). Not sure if you know this but prior to the Middle Ages when the Catholic Church added chapter and verse to Scripture - each Book was simply a long...
