Yes, Christians should be more involved in politics. Recently it was said that the evangelical block in the US represents 70 M voters, the largest voting block. The kingdom of God is here, now. It makes no sense to me that we have God lead our lives, our families, our communities - but not our...

Camping this time of year is a good option.

Great, great points! Welcome Rich R.

This thread was inspired by another great one by @Aunty Jane in the thread about your favorite English translation. The last part proved again Hebrews 4:12, the word of God is alive; I keep thinking about the Lord's Prayer and Hallowed be thy name. And that begs the question, what is God's...

‘In the form’ of MEANS he is not God. My cookie jar is in the form of a bear; it is not what it is in the form of. For us, there is one God, the Father. Proves only the Father is God.

What is your 'other faith?"

All you do is repeated your limited vocabulary. Again, honoring God, keeping the 1C, is not dishonoring anyone, including Jesus. Please refer to the verse in Scripture that says if you do not call Jesus God incarnate, it is dishonoring Christ?

That's really irrelevant to the point of AFTER or during 3 days.

Except the verses you cite do not quite support what you claim. Matthew 16:21 The Voice 21 Then Jesus began to tell the disciples about what would happen to Him. He saidHe would have to go to Jerusalem. There the elders, chief priests, and scribes would meet Him; He would suffer at their...

Except this 'basic' is not in Scripture, as I said. Anyone can read into text if they want. I recall an episode of the Simpsons where they fell into a cult. Homer saved on the window sill some breakfast cereal that he believed looked like the cult leader.

You think you are better off NOT seeking help from your all-powerful Creator who loves more than we can imagine? The Bible says to pray without ceasing. Try that for 30 days and let us know how the experiment turns out, Much love

Honoring God is not dishonoring his son.

Don't you grasp language usage? Honoring Being B the same as Being A is honored does not mean Being A and Being B are the same being. Your claim is NOT the same as the Father demanding we give His glory to his Son. What did Jesus say when asked about paying taxes? He did NOT say render unto the...

Other than offending your sensibilities, my explanation is sound. Since you disagree, what is your explanation for why Jesus refrained from judging between the inheritance dispute of the brothers and the adulteress? I guess we are so opinionated these days, we automatically think if we can...

Maybe God's plan is for you to be blessed in serving Him without marriage?

I'll pray for you brother.

My God man! Biology is a thing! There is an ability that separates a child from an adult; the ability to procreate. If you ever go to a zoo and read about the animal, they post how long before the animal reaches adulthood. It is not some arbritrary age but the onset of the ability to procreate...

Was he not a apostate Jew? Some say he became Jewish. Anyway, I updated my signature just for you. How many authors are there of the Bible? How many are Jewish? :)

The verses I quoted imply Jesus lacked moral authority to judge. No one said IF he judged his judgement would not be righteous. The question is why didn't he judge? In today's legal parlance, he lacked jurisdiction. Furthermore, he knew he lacked the moral authority of jurisdiction and...

Thanks! The analysis shows that Jesus rose Saturday at dusk. I believe the motivation for people to believe he rose Sunday at dawn is some romantic notion that Mary missed by moments, the greatest event in human history. She missed it by ~ 12 hours.
