Well you already know my belief [or perhaps opinion according to you] in this regard. I believe that I do understand, although you seemingly have doubts. Keep on seeking until you have it all... Give God the glory in all things! Praise His name!

@ChristJala Praying for you now!

Thank you!

Also, no, but I wouldn't want to be required to put them all in proper order either!

Well I was supposed to pick up my pastor from the airport later tonight, but the weather delayed his flight so he missed his connection. The airline in Dallas is putting him in a hotel and he'll come in tomorrow during the predicted winter storm. I'll have pick him up then, but in spite of ice...

Didn't get to this until today. I got my new Bipap machine today with its breathing assistant. Tonight is the first trial run at home. It also serves like a ventilator in a hospital so long as there is no power failure. That is to say if I died in my sleep the machine would breathe for me until...

@Preacher4Truth Welcome to the forum! May God richly bless you as you move through these threads.

I thought it was "Calvinism is a Cult"?

I agree that works will result from faith. The rest of where I am you already know so I won't repeat it here unless a refresher is needed.

Give God the glory! As you may remember, Helen, I destroyed all of years worth of written notes when I backslid for about 10 years. I never had a computer in those days. When I came back to the Lord, in 2002, I had already a computer in hand.

Hold that stuff. It may never be useful, but then again...?

There are certainly worse places to visit or to live. I was born here, but lived in California and Wyoming for 40 some years. I returned here to stay in 1987. That is more than just passing through a "small portion".

@Laish Give God the glory my friend!

Many people are quick to respond with a negative faith. One example is on the possibility of becoming perfect prior to having the dirt shoveled over your face. I hear lots of people say no one can be perfect or be sinless this side of natural death. This amounts to calling Jesus a liar as I...

Since we have more knowledge then we must suffer greater consequences for our shortcomings: "But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of...

And where were Adam and Eve prior to eating of the forbidden fruit? "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:" Acts 10:34

:):D

We live apparently in different worlds. We were all already dead. Nothing to fear as we already were dead and then Jesus came bringing Life as a possibility. Give God the glory!
