There may not be much of an excuse, there is a reason as it does happen. Many people with high school diplomas are in trouble reading things more complicated than common traffic signs. While working in a Social Security field office some of our most frequent visitors were people who could not...

Amen! "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots." Luke 23:34

Oh my friend, should we not be bothered when someone is persecuting us? Jesus was certainly bothered, not out of concern for his own flesh, but rather because of those who worked at offending anyone... even Him! "Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come...

Indeed, we speak when we are really led by God to so and we remain silent whenever we are ignorant or God so leads us.

Who is it then? "And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks And he trembling and astonished said, Lord...

No, that was for Wolfgang A Mozart. My composition is for naught except when the good Lord inspires me from or with His Word. Give God the glory!

No, others have made plain what they say her beliefs must be as a result of her being Mormon. Presumption is what I would call this. Will you then beat her into submission? Will you beat her until she repents what you believe to be her errors? If she is in error but her heart is sincere in her...

@biloqewu Goodbye! As you walk with God may He richly bless you. "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy." Matt 5:7

What we need to do now, is head in the direction of perfection: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matt 5:48

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb 11:11 But what we often see and is frequently taught in church settings is a compilation of someone else's facts and someone else's absolutes instead of what God provides. Who trusts God rather than men?

Not until we actually inherit anyway: "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together" Rom 8:17

"But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." Matt 5:37

A strong 'Amen' to this.

I already have an answer or even the answer. Why would studying SDA beliefs make the answer different than what I have said? Understood! I was simply saying what I like about our friend @bbyrd009 . He instigates and provokes. Even if his conclusions may be incomplete or missing or in error...

Or maybe he works hard at provoking people so that they may consider their ways. People often meet God initially with joy and then climb up to a plateau where they sit down having become weary on their journey of well doing. Do they not need to be provoked? Should we always hold our tongues...

"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are." John 17:11 The flesh of Jesus was still walking around on planet Earth, so he was not speaking of that...

Praying for your stolen car, Helen. We were blessed by getting ours back in three days with minimal damage. The police had told us beforehand not to expect it. We were glad they were wrong.
