Einstein not withstanding, the Jehovah Witnesses stood their ground on a per capita basis stronger than any other group of believers including Catholics. Of course few people pay attention to this as they call them a cult. But how many of those who so labelled the JWs while that regime was in...

Remember also this woman who had gone to the doctors: "And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched." Luke...

While the video could be good, consider how many denominations could or would say the same about videos that they have produced with using their essentials. To watch all of them might be an impossible task. We cannot play it by ear. Rather we must proceed as the Holy Spirit leads. For those who...

Are you really saying that failure to take your word for it that our failure to give 2+ hours to a video you recommend could cost us our salvation? What of all those who lived before the production of not only this video but any video were available? Are they all then lost?

I arrived there in about October and stayed until sometime in late Spring so the saw little if any of summer. I remember taking leave for Christmas when they closed the school for a while. I arrived in California with a severe case of measles. My mother drove me to Fort Ord where they admitted...

Oh yes, while it was a very long time ago, I enjoyed my time there. The trees in the fall were in multitude of beautiful colors. That winter was the first full one I spent anywhere with snow on the ground. Where I lived in California snow at any time was extremely unusual and it had never snowed...

For me New Jersey was another one of my stopping places with the US Army. After completing my basic training in California I was sent to Fort Monmouth, NJ for my 35 weeks of for microwave radio repair school. While I was there, President Kennedy was assassinated. We were located only about 50...

Pilate tried hard to not have Jesus crucified. I wonder our well some of our leaders or judges while claiming to have assured their own salvation could resist doing what Pilate ended up doing given the same kind of circumstances? It appears that Pilate made the right decision for the wrong...

Once in a while there is some Light seen, but too often as you say, it is as a really bad book. When I was growing up I was always reading novels which without God gave me something in the middle of my nothing. I have grown a lot since then and still see a lot of nothing in many places including...

Even so! And what Solomon wrote about study does apply to man's study today. That is NOT the way to truth: "And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh." Ecc 12:12

Yes, God increased His expectations because He gave us more. People who believe no effort on their part is needed after initial repentance have missed this... "But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of...

Like the natural children of Israel people now often receive from God what they really want, even though they do not understand how painful or harmful or even wrong receiving it might be. I am speaking of church people, of people who gather tightly around their own determined truth [absolute...

We all probably do this [read historical non-fiction], whether we admit it or understand even what it is that we are doing. The scripture contains, I believe, God's messages [Plural?] to men, but for the most part few know how to receive [understand?] it. The reason so many disagree on what the...

Remember my friend that only God gives the increase. Unfortunately some people who have decided they are right with apparently a revelation from God on it [or should that be without such a revelation?] are not even considering anything that anyone else has to say about it. Are you wrong? Am...

"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." I Cor 11:3

Of course my own opinion has to do with what is or is not being preached and taught in too many churches as well as what I have observed in this Bible belt. How many real followers of Christ are there? I hope to really be one.

Hello mjrhealth! Good to see you here again.

@CoreIssue Well the time is getting short for everyone who is not where they need to be. Those who expecting to fix the problem by fixing our nation's problem are already missing the most important thing. This doesn't change the only place where real comfort may be found. If God is not fixing...

@farouk Some people are more innocent or guilty than others, but who has been innocent in the eyes of God? Who has not been dead in the eyes of God? Some men have worked to make this American dream better, but when they leaned heavily on their own abilities rather than God's, how successful...

@farouk I also live in what people have called the Bible Belt, but what does that really mean to God? Again it is simply a statement according to a person's experience rather what 'thus saith the Lord'. In this world that we see around us [planet Earth] while things have changed since I was...
