Thank you my friend!

@stunnedbygrace Glad to hear you're OK even if still shaky. Keeping you in prayer.

The Head has completed its work and is ready to rest in its place over the Body of Christ. Our work is to become a place for Jesus to rest, to lay his Head, which is that place of rest and/or habitation which David also sought for his Lord... "Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my...

Perhaps with men the problem is that they have moved so far away from God that at times [prior to what we have now] we could not hope to look on His face. Consider Moses when he asked to see God: "And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live." Exodus 33:20...

Thanks! I believe I am making the connection... "But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church;and let him speak to himself, and to God." I Cor 14:28 "Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret." I Cor 14:13 The interpretation is...

Thanks again to everyone for the prayers.

Well she's not supposed to walk but they did send her home and now she's in bed. We had to drive to a hospital 60 miles away in case they admitted her since our pulmonologist is in that area. He is one of those who loves people and knows his job. He says he'll never retire on us, but he is older...

@Episkopos @"ByGrace" Thanks for the prayers and for caring.

Well it is on the open forum as recently as yesterday or maybe even today. With a long drive to another hospital this PM I've lost track of when anything happened. I am trying to catch up a little here. Between my wife's illness and my computer troubles, I have fallen behind here. Also with her...

My wife has had an apparent case of bronchitis for nearly a month. It just wouldn't let go. Today we finally took her in and they confirmed she has pneumonia. Please keep her in prayer.

@Truth praying here for your wife.

@quietthinker Thank you for your kind and informative response. I might discuss further but it has been an very long day for us. My wife is down with pneumonia, while I as the primary caregiver am exhausted. I do need to play catch up on some of the posts here addressed to me. May God richly...

Thank you. We just got home from an extremely full day for us which ended with an X-ray which confirmed her pneumonia. The good thing is that they sent her home.

Old twinc really had some good points but sometimes it was kind of hard to define them. But then again recently someone here said they could not understand what I was talking about... so who am I to say a word about not understanding dear twinc?

Thank you for your kindness. I've been swamped outside the forum lately and my desk top computer has gone permanently offline making for difficulties. My wife has been diagnosed today with pneumonia and needs prayer. primary. Lots of things needed. As to your encouragement, I am glad you were...

I am really sorry that you do not understand what I am saying. We truly at times and places speak different languages. Maybe we need an interpreter.

Perhaps Paul understood what the Word is as opposed to the word and he identified with how he used the word, Scripture. I don't even pretend to be familiar with much of man's history as written or not, but if God has always been God as I believe He has then much of what is written by men in...

Sorry, I did try. I do have faith that God has put me on the right road and that He will always lead me if I will keep my eyes on Him. He also me in what I read and He within me quickens what He will quicken. I own copies also of all those books which some men other than Catholics often...

I only mentioned Caleb here for a reason. Joshua and Caleb were the two adults who came out of Egypt and made it all the way into the Promised Land. I left Joshua outbecause his name effectively is the same as Jesus of the 4 gospel accounts in the NT. His type or shadow is more perhaps of the...

Well the end result for Jesus was certainly the same.
