    non Christians saved........how ?

The word, Christian, has come to mean a lot to politicians, but as it stands today how good is that and to whom?

    The Destruction of Damascus

You just don't go looking for them because you think you can. With Paul it may have been a real crawling through the grass kind of snake [a reptile], but I consider more often that it would be a man who speaks poisonous words with the tongue in his mouth. Again, we should not be looking for such...

    The Destruction of Damascus

How about the prophecy on King Hezekiah? He was told by the prophet Isaiah to set his things in order as he was going to die. Hezekiah prayed after the prophet had left and in answer to his prayer God sent Isaiah back to advise him that he had been given 15 more years.

    A word from the Lord

Sometimes I wonder if I am even conscious? Or it could be that I am and it is everyone else that are unconscious?

    A word from the Lord

For me even the word literal too often conveys the wrong meaning. To me literal means "exactly so", or the material thing as opposed to the shadow when the material thing blocks light. To me the spiritual is real as the shadow is real but either one of them or both of them may also be literal...

    New World Order

There is to many it would seem at times confusion between what is a lower animal and what is man who is like a beast or has a beast nature, at least, as we read about them in scripture. Some beasts in scripture are immediately recognized as lower animals while others are immediately recognized...

    New World Order

Apparently knowing scripture and knowing the Word of God is not the same thing. Jesus is the Word of God but many people who know about him have never known him... and as a result...?!?!

    Those dirty hippies

Neither she nor I were ever hippies, but my wife was born in San Francisco. She never left the state of California until after we were married with one child. I had been most of the way around the world before I ever met her.

    A word from the Lord

@bbyrd009 What a question! Well what is it when we have a conversation with God? A prayer!?!? Is God not Spirit or a Spirit? Sometimes when I do I speak with Him it is aloud with my mouth and sometimes not. Sometimes I speak in an unknown tongue, and sometimes in Spanish, sometimes in German...

    A word from the Lord

If God will help me… : "Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!" Matt 18:7 "Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But he...

    A word from the Lord

The phrase or debate is unfamiliar to me, but I admit to being quite naïve about many thing happening in the carnal or even the church [I won's say spiritual] world around me. I would guess that having tea with someone would be a relaxing even enjoyable occurrence for two or more people...

    A word from the Lord

Rather the Word is that which is quickened [brought to Life] by the Holy Spirit. If an atheist or any unanointed person quotes a scripture without the Holy Spirit quickening they are simply dead words. Remember that satan also quoted scripture to Jesus but those words had no power. They had no...

    A word from the Lord

Hmmm, but if at the beginning the first two had simply remained faithful and obedient, no one would have had to leave Paradise. Alas, it was not to be, but, then God has always had a plan. If we remain on His side all will be well. Give God the glory!

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Apparently you did not even read with understanding my post #3297. It had nothing to do with false prophets. "Jesus wept"

There are currently 41,000 different Christian denominations

You spoke of 6 weeks in the negative, but I recall 7 weeks in the positive. A great many years ago in the very first assembly to which we belonged, the pastor, [a man I came to distrust], did something really great in and for the Lord. He started having a prayer meeting every evening 7 days a...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

So you are excusing yourself based on what you see as someone else's error? Is that not the reason God rejected Saul as king of Israel? Do you know what an idle word is?

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

This was a terrible thing to say anywhere. There are really some hungry and thirsty people around and sometimes some of them may visit this thread on this forum and read your post. May God help us all!

    Left behind- interesting christian movie

Another of those words I have to look up each time I see it on forums. What is proper? Is this the least? The least, I would believe is to follow Jesus as we are led by the Holy Spirit. When we do so and as we walk among people, be they believers or not, will not truth be seen whether it is...

    Left behind- interesting christian movie

@Heart2Soul Very good with scriptural references, I did enjoy watching it. I place a hold on any conclusions. My face to face is not yet fully functional.

    A word from the Lord

Saying the devil is the winner, as I understand it, is speaking of man being the winner as he sees it, even though in the eyes of God such a man is a big loser, losing even what he did already have: "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath...
