He hid from them. Why? What do YOU think? Don't let me do all the work!

Jesus did not want to be on the same plane as God Father. First of all, while here He was the Son of God. God Father had a higher standing or position. I have no conundrum excep for the fact that the trinity is not easy to understand but I DO accept it. Grace. Did grace not exist in the...

Satan also believes,,, but I DID say FOLLOWERS. Jesus was to literally DIE when He was speaking these words. He was the light of the world and He was IN the world. John 1:9 He DID literally die. But HE IS STILL ALIVE and His light can STILL be seen and accepted. Also, you say there are...

I can't break software. I have a niece that would have that capability because she writes software. Stop worrying about my method. I'm not the one who invented it... OK. So Jesus is a light. Like B and like K. Lights sent to man at different times to let us know God better. This is OK. But...

Jesus could not have been created. Even if first. He was Always a part of God as the Word of God. And, yes, God created time, so He cannot be PART OF TIME. He is outside of time. He KNOWS everything that will happen -- this does not mean that He causes it to happen. Also, I don't think...

Jesus separated it. Mathew 28 again. In the name of the Father AND the Holy Spirit. Could He have meant the spirit of God as it does seem to mean in the O.T.? I have also learned that the love between Father and Son IS the Holy Spirit. Not easy stuff!!

Of course it's in scripture. But if you don't look for it, you don't find it. Also, Spirit in the O.T. meant the spirit of God.

No need know Greek. It's theology, the study of God. Not every single thing about God can be discerned from the bible only. Sometimes we need someone to put it all together, but it still has to be based on the bible. The difference between God and LORD and Lord is a difficult one because no...

Yes. It's unfortunate we don't really understand what you state above. Sometimes the members of the ONE Body like to wrestle with each other... 1 Corinthians 3:1-10 1 Corinthians 6:13-17 1 Corinthians 12

Agreed. I just want to say that yes, Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. He was fully man and fully God. He was NOT only spirit, as you state, and He was NOT only man or His sacrafice would not have been sufficient. It took someone MORE than sinful man to atone for man's sin and sins. It took God.

P.S. Forgot to mention that many invent or preach different ideas and theories. This does not mean that it's the OFFICIAL teaching of the Catholic Church. Luckily for the CC it does have a magesterium that holds its doctrine together. I sometimes wish we had something similar due to all the...

I know that the Catholic Church does NOT believe in the rapture. ...which would be the "left behind" theory. I believe I saw a movie with that title. Seems Nick Cage was saved and Flying a plane that DID NOT fall out of the sky. But all those other planes that DID... I suppose EVERYONE not...

What is the blessing? We all know the end must come. In one way or another. Why does how it comes make such a big difference? And what is the blessing you feel you have by understanding it?

P I don't know much about eschatology and I'm not Catholic, however, I will not sit by and listen to anyone say that the CC is leading people to their eternal doom. The CC preaches Christ and how we are to be like Him. There are many sitting in those pews that are saved, and many sitting in...

I also see God the Creator all around me. His breath, and thoughts, Jesus, created all nature and is all around. The Holy Spirit is there to help us, He is our paraclete. He walks by our side. What we see is the work of our Lord. We can say that Jesus made everything beautiful for us. This is...

Do you know what happens to people when they ASSUME? And YOU sure do a lot of it.

I know you have a friend that's a Rabbi'. Please ask him about this What does Son of Man mean in the O.T. It's a long study, if you start a thread we could get into it. It would be easier if you just asked him. There are some verses in the O.T. that refer to the sons of men and then there are...

bb The Son of Man refers to the Messiah. Jesus is the Messiah. It doesn't matter what Strong's says or doesn't say. The study of this has to be based on Daniel 7:13-14 and all the other times in the OT that The Son of Man is mentioned meaning the coming Christ. AND all the times it's said in the...
