Here’s the most critical question for you

I'm on a tablet and I can't work it really well. I like my paper, old-fashioned Bible!

    End Times Close ???

Thanks for all the info. I don't see how a new temple could be built where the dome is now. The Muslims would never give it up,,,but God had His ways.

explain to me why tattoo is bad. and why Pure Spirit is better than Mystic tattoo spirit. thanks.

God doesn't care how we treat our bodies? Isn't our body a temple for the Holy Spirit? 1 Corinthians 6:19

Here’s the most critical question for you

Doesn't that number of verses tend to prove a point? It's the scripture that speaks, not so much the OPs comments. Mathew 7:21-23 alone says a lot. One must do the will of the Father or Jesus will proclaim to not know them. This also means that one could lose salvation if the don't do the will...

Here’s the most critical question for you

No Bible here. Tomorrow. I will say that Paul exhorts us to not waver. If he took the time to do this, it must be for an important reason.

    End Times Close ???

Don't know much about these things. Wouldn't a cornerstone already be there since the wailing wall is still standing? I did read years ago that there are some Jewish sects that still perform animal sacrifices.

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

The Bible is a miraculous book. There's nothing else like it. It has the power to bring to salvation if only by repeating the words of Jesus. The service should be centered around the word. Think of how the early Christian's celebrated the word and had communion at their gathering. It's what...

Here’s the most critical question for you

God can do what He wants to. Of course. It seems to me that those who insist that salvation cannot be lost are attempting to tell God what the rules are. God is Almighty.; He makes the rules.

Here’s the most critical question for you

So you DO have an opinion. You are OSAS. You believe that once a person accepts Jesus as savior he is saved forever and no matter what? What if he denies Jesus after some years and goes back to a life without God? Is he still saved?

    What Was Jesus Like?

Yes, He was a righteous man. He cried for Jerusalem. He was sad for Martha and Mary. He was mad at the tree with no figs And at the moneychangers on temple grounds. He knew the righteousness of God... Let him without sin cast the first stone... Give to Caeser what is caeser's And to God what is...

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

    I agree. Maybe we're becoming more and more egotistical and have no need of God. ;

Here’s the most critical question for you

How could you not stand on either side? You either believe salvation can be lost or you don't.

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

Not everyone reading may know the Bible so well as to recognize when the words being spoken ate biblical. Also, I've been living outside the US a long time and was saddened to learn that maybe even Protestants are not learning the word. Why else send someone to the pastor??

Here’s the most critical question for you

There are verses in the NT which could be used to support either position.

Here’s the most critical question for you

I can't travel as much as he did! We could be disciples but we cannot be apostles. That was reserved to understand the original 12. 11 of them witnessed the resurrection. That's no longer possible. Apostle means one who is sent. IMO no one should be called an apostle today.
  16. GodsGrace

Here’s the most critical question for you

Every word in the NT is for all of us. Except for a few verses that were only for the apostles. For instance, baptizing believers. Mathew 28:19
  17. GodsGrace

Here’s the most critical question for you

Could you please post some scripture to support what you're saying. This IS the Christian theology forum. What do you mean by the first resurrection?
  18. GodsGrace

Here’s the most critical question for you

LOL You don't leave anything for us. I agree with you. Jesus said to DO and to BE. I hear lately that God is insulted if we do good deeds because Jesus already did everything, so we are to do nothing for our salvation. This sounds to me like calling good, evil and evil, good. Isaiah 5:20

    Discipleship Lesson In 7 Words

Love your neighbor As you love yourself.

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

Well, to be perfectly frank, I don't care to much for person's personal opinions. If they have something to say it must be from the word of God. If they can't quote where an idea comes from, why should I listen? Calvinists can find scripture that SEEMS to support them, and arminians can find...
