The N.T. gives us some clues as to how Jesus behaved and acted. It gives us a clue into His character and personality. What was Jesus like in your opinion?

Very smart with your answers. Jesus didn't come to tell us about Himself. He came here to show us how WE are supposed to be. More like Him. So if you don't know how HE was, how do you know how You're supposed to be? The beatitudes give you a clue as to how He was. His courage in going to the...

What was Christ really like?

About YOUR idea of Christianity!!! What do you think makes YOU so unique??

I kind of see the outline of an angel in the dark. I don't know that the angel should be in the dark. But I agree with everything else. It does seem from Deuteronomy and Jeremiah that God gives us a CHOICE to go through that door or not. This does kill the doctrines found in Calvinism...

Gosh. No one asked you what your idea of Christianity is. Am I the only curious one here??? You DID write Christian under your avatar... (I might have missed a post)

I've heard about this. I believe it's called the "blood moon". It does seem very strange. It just seem to me that things are so bad. It seems like the world was worse off in the dark ages and even before the year 1,000 AD. It seems to be that there is no concensus on the end. Everyone seems...

Could you or @bygrace please tell me what the further revelation is? It's Always been my understanding that JESUS is the ultimate revelation and that there is to be NO FURTHER revelation after Him. There COULD BE some explanation as to what He said, but no new revelation. This is why we have...

@Job Hi Job, You said: Job said: ↑ Jesus took the physical aspects of the Old Covenant and made them spiritual. I asked you, Like What For Instance??? This is an interesting idea. Do you have a reply?

@Armadillo No reply? You said the good news is that we are saved through Jesus' sacrifice. I asked the above questions. Do you have a reply???

You're right of course. Our Christianity is ALIVE and we are NOT people of the book, as are the muslims. HOWEVER, when making statements one must back them up with scripture. We aren't allowed to say whatever we want to say, but should only say and confirm as to what is written in the bible...

So are you saying that Jesus only became God's Son as an adult??? To which I would reply with my previous post, no. 184.

Sorry, I was away. I don't know if I'm good with that. It seems to me that you're saying that Jesus was a man FIRST when He was born and THEN He BECAME GOD. That's what it sounds like you were saying. If I misunderstood I am sorry. My belief, and the belief of all Christianity, is that...

You listed a lot. What's left to say?

Predestined for what?

Oz, Because misery wants company. They'd all like us to join them in their boat. Satan is Always ready to help those that want to help him to convince persons not to believe. IOW, they need confirmation. What better confirmation than to see Others abandon their faith just like they did. Have...

Very good point! Thanks. Leaving for a couple of days...

@OzSpen Read a little bit of what you linked. Ehrman really does not like Christianity. This could sure put a lot of doubt into some people's minds. I do wonder why he would spend so much time writing the books he wrote? Will read some more...

It's true! So many persons depend on us.... sigh. :)
