    First step of everlasting life

I do not think they had faith. If they did. they would not practice unrighteousness. I believe these people had more faith in their deeds then they did Christ. hence they tried to be saved by works. As John said, whoever sins has never seen or known God.

Saved By Grace Through FAITH ...

Dead faith never saved anyone A person who was saved and did works for 20 years. Has already shown he has a living faith. Even if he becomes a prodigal son. He will not return to his pre salvation state. I did not and I was a prodigal for 5 years uyntil the chastening of God and guilt brought...

Saved By Grace Through FAITH ...

He did not just take adam's sin away. Where do people come up with this? No animal was sacrificed to remove adams sin from the any person according to the law. Jesus did not become adam's sin in us so we could be made righteous. Just removing adams sin would not make us righteous at all. we...

Remember many Jews asked. But they also added circumcision and other aspects of the law. And paul called them anathema for preaching a different gospel, also many asked and were hearers not doers, James said their faith was dead, a dead faith will not save you, if it could James would not have...

John 3 - Born of Water and Spirit

The mere fact Jesus did not mention baptism at all when he told him how to receive the new birth of eternal life, just further proves this point

Jesus knew the law. The law required them to obey every word. Yes. She commited adultry and was guilty. But what Jesus wanted them to see is they were guilty too. even if they did not commit adultry. The reason they all left. is they understood their sin .. Do you?

    freewill? na

We also have Jesus, Also when he looked over Jerusalem. Said how often he wanted to take them under his wing. But they were unwilling. responded. Yes, you got it. We responded to revelation. Some respond in faith. Some respond in unbelief. But everyone responds. As for your last paragraph...

    freewill? na

The concept that I somehow CHOSE GOD is nonsensical. I did not chose anyone What I chose was to receive his gift. instead of rejecting it. He who believes is not condemned He who does not believe is condemned already, in these words of Jesus. free will is proven. We are saved by grace...

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

    1. You asked if I thought people who willfully sin will get to heaven, I answered that no child of God can live in willful sin 2. Our conversation has been centered on the fact you believe obedience is required to get to heaven. VS the thinking that a true child of God WILL be obedient (these...

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

I believe what the apostle John said Whoever sins has never seen or known God Whoever has been born of God does not sin. My God changes people. Does not yours? And if you think your sins are not willful. When then we have another issue. Why are you excusing your own sin?

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

Yes, But this is not how we are saved, It is what we do AFTER we are saved. so concerning our discussion for the past few days, It is not the right question Obeying Gods commands to maintain or keep from losing salvation is legalism. Pure and simple And you missed a few very applicable point...
