Water there is the HS. Spiritual water flowing to eternal life not water some prehistoric dunks you in. Which gets you wet

Yes grace. Unmerited favor you can’t merit grace with sacraments

Those are HS Baptism my friend. Spiritual baptism. He will baptize.

I was not talking about prophecy. I was talking about what John said. John 1: 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become...

You have to be A member of Christ first correct?

Yep and what did He say? HE WILL BAPTIZE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE. No one was ever saved or made a child of God because of water baptism.

You want to become a child By a work of man feel free I will do what Jesus said and become a child by becoming poor in spirit by doing as the tax collector. By placing my faith in him by eating the food if eternal Life your interpretation. Of almost all of those passages is in error. If you...

I am sticking to the question only Gods children become Members of Christ. If your not Gods child your not a member of Christ not everyone who says to Me lord lord. Many people think they are members when they are not. There will be a lot of weeping and bashing of teeth on judgment day

Paul said anyone who teaches a different gospel is to be anathemad. There is only one gospel (way) to heaven. Its not your way or my way its Gods way. We do not get to pick and chose which way we want, if we get the way wrong. We will be lost. The only people who are members of Christ are...

So your going to merit your way to heaven Even though we are continually told we are gifted salvation, eternal life and entrance to heaven by unmerited favor (grace) Paul says I have been saved (justified) and I am being saved (sanctified, and I will be saved (glorified) One thing that would...

Amen, They call us Acts skippers.. Just because we reject their faulty interpretation does not mean we skip anything

So we just skip John. Where John and Jesus both multiple times say he who believes is not condemend, He who does not believe is condemned ALREADY? How they said whoever believes has eternal life How they said whoever believes has passed from death to life How they said whoever believes will...

So. You earned or merited your salvation by those works. What happened to grace (unmerited favor)?

So we are saved by works not by Grace?

The confusion comes from the english translation. Not from what is written itself. Reading the english it does appear to say one must both repent and be baptized to receive the gift of the spirit The issue is who Peter was speaking in each command. Peter told EVERYONE to repent. He only spoke...

So romans 6 is going to tell me that I have to live up to Gods standard to be saved? That I have to be perfect? ps. We are talking about how a person is saved and ends up in heaven. Not what a child of God is supposed to do. When you say required. Your making it a pre-requisite. Is...

Well then again I ask how can obedience be required what perfection is the required line of obedience required and NO ONE can meet that standard it’s like saying you must fly to the lowest cloud to make it. Yet no one has that ability. Your putting the onus on the person who can not meet the...

So a preacher should lie and say obedience is required to be saved? Putting people under law? that’s the problem. That’s why legalism runs rampant. No one who understands the depth of their sin goes on thinking it’s ok to sin. That’s just a legalistic mindset brought out by people who think we...

Yet you keep saying obedience is REQUIRED. The word required is the word I am questioning. by the way, I have heard it many times, maybe no in the exact wording, but we hear it all the time, it’s just most deny it

When you claim obedience is REQUIRED, you are! The word “Required is making it a term of the agreement, if you fail to live up to your side. You will break the agreement, That’s why I have continued to show how if obedience is required, it must be according to what God says, and he states if...
