Quite clear indeed... LOL

Unfortunately, as you already understand professing too often falls very short of what Jesus was and is. Some are probably not really Christian at all, but simply following some party line because it is presently the pathway of least resistance for them. Others, have encountered the truth but...

For a sometimes seemingly intelligent and educated man it seems your skill at reading with understanding falls very short. Are the rest of us speaking always in parables and no one is available to provide you with the interpretation. Perhaps you need the gift of the Holy Ghost.

What we need is to obey the two great commandments as per Jesus as you indicated above. I do believe that a person can do that without knowing everything that God knows or even everything that God has for men. The most important thing we need to have should be charity/love as per I Cor 13:1-13.

And do any Christians ever take time out from God and act like devils?

My post was to you personally and you answer by lumping together everyone who is not a Catholic as if they were all the same rather than admit that you might even in a measure be wrong. We are ignorant, each one of us of many things, but you would condemn the innocent along with the guilty to be...

Well in those days I did not even read scripture, but God always knows what He is doing even when we do not. [the latter happening perhaps too often] You must remember the same mule I do. I had not thought about Francis in a long time. Sometimes I think that that is what I am, a talking mule...

@Frank Lee Amen my friend. You are right on with this one.

Jesus called them dead. If we have Life in us, we should not do differently...

While I really don't expect to see him change, it really would be a good thing. Not all Catholics are so hard-headed and I am not speaking of the nominal Catholics. There are those in other Christian churches as well.

You have a way of twisting people's meanings or understandings into what you call lies. This is what I meant by the quote regarding idle words. For your own sake, as you already know, you should get hold of yourself. While you do have confession available, that confession according to...

He does. He says that he'll never quit until God stops him. His service to the Lord is his life and while he can he will. I'd be in trouble if I traveled as often and as far as he does and I'm only a youngster of 74.

My name, Amadeus, is Latin [or Spanish] for "love God". I received it for real as my Confirmation name in the Roman Catholic Church more than 50 years ago. The only time I have ever used it is on Christian forums like this one.

Sometimes people who want to love Jesus have not yet learned what charity really is. Don't feel too bad for them. They simply need to learn more about what Jesus really is. He is about much more than talking in tongues. As a man here, he most often or even always spoke in parables and how many...

Actually he ran into a ditch in a single car accident at the end of last week just outside of Memphis. A church in Memphis sent a brother to pick him up and take him on to Birmingham. His car is in the shop in Memphis. He hopes it will be ready for him when the meeting ends tomorrow. Thanks...

My pastor is presently at a fellowship meeting near Birmingham. It ends tomorrow.

There's tongues of God and there's garbage of men. "Man kann auch auf Deutsch oder auf Englisch oder auf Spanisch sprechen". What we say has meaning for someone else only if that someone understands what we are saying. I don't get tossed out, but often I have not gone back. Is that good or...

Who do you suppose is to be eating his flesh and drinking his blood? Certainly not the old man!

I believe that Paul identified what you are saying with these verses: "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe...

You did not even understand what she said. She meant that you did NOT understand that by your position you were calling Jesus a liar. Because of delusion a person does not recognize when he is lying. You have a lot of knowledge, but without a love for truth... The only way around it is start...
