I spent one winter in West Berlin and I lived through two in Wyoming. The cold and the snow in both places were more akin to what you have regularly. I do despise the worst heat of Oklahoma summers, but I know from experience that there are worse places in that direction as well. I don't...

Communication is always a problem!

@gadar perets Welcome to the forum.

@_Lily_76 Welcome to the forum. I like snow myself, but I could really do without the cold that usually comes with it.

@Marymog We eat for our carnal bodies meat and potatoes [or McDonald's junk] and drink on water [or pop or coffee] three times daily plus snacks if we are able to get them and then some. So that's being a good steward of the flesh given by God to each of us. You are speaking of the new or...

While your definition sounds good, many people use the word "cult" to describe almost any church group that is different than their own. If you are going to use the word and communicate with some you may always have to cite your definition as well. Of course, this is likely to hold true for many...

You are saying that I should not defend others; that they rather should defend themselves. I am quite certain that she is able but sometimes other people do try to obey what God has spoken to their hearts: "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:" Ecc...

Thank you!

Of course I said the "middle of His road" while your reference in Revelation speaks of the whole spectrum of works that people do. Those who are cold or lukewarm would not I believe be on His road at all although the lukewarm ones might think that they were...

We went to that assembly because it was part of the denomination to which the people who won us to the Lord belonged. That brother was very careful in how he expressed it, but I know he regretted having led us there. The "first" just mean it was first in our personal experience. The "oneness"...

I know that it doesn't happen often, but even seldom is a bit too often.

You have stated repeatedly on this forum that your job is to defend against lies about the Catholic Church. She never mentioned Catholics in her post. Her post was talking about people and their errors in serving God. Of course, if you are saying that Catholics never make mistakes, then we would...

I understand what you believe and I would never expect you to speak differently, but you could have answered the question. Why did only the priest only partake of the wine in earlier times?

Almost absolutely! Every single one excepting any who have overcome as Jesus did. I don't know any, but it is not for any of us to say that there are none, is it? And how many Catholics do any of us know who never need to go to confession before their priest regularly?

People like a black and white set of rules to go by for easy reference. Because people differ in what the rules should or should not say there lots of denominations available working to fill someone's requirements. Then there are a few people who are simply wanting to stay in touch with God all...

Absolutely, but quite often others to whom it was not revealed will rebuke you for proclaiming it.

It is unusual for us in Oklahoma to have colder weather than Colorado. Our low this AM was 1 F [31 degrees below freezing] with a high of 21 F. All of that and not a snowflake. Friends to our north within 20 miles of the Kansas border did have some snow.

Jesus was certainly not part of right wing or left wing Christianity. Men brought it upon themselves in secular politics and also in Christendom. It ought not to so, but it is. Being like Jesus is where we need to be heading. Walking down the middle of His road is where we need to be; Those who...

They put metal rods in her back to reinforce the damaged [from arthritis] places in her back along with screws to hold them in place. She also have a piece of metal in one her knees from a previously surgery. For that one they removed a piece of bone from her hip to reinforce the knee. She says...

I never got that when I was a Catholic. It was in the Protestant churches that I started seeing that kind of thing in later years. I remember, after we stopped attending his assembly, I met a man at a local store who had been with that pastor for many years. I was growing a beard and that was...
