Where I attend now we do try to have an open forum in all of our services where anyone can get up and preach or teach or testify or sing a song as the Spirit him. It has worked better than other places where I've attended with their rigid pre-programmed services. The ones who preach or teach...

Back to Joshua who gave us a verse that continues to describe our choices today: "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose...

Consider that according to Jesus, there is none good but ONE, which is God [see Mark 10:18]. So then any person who can ever correctly be described as good must, as I understand it, have at least a bit of God in him. The faithful part must be found in hearing from the Good [God in us?] and...

Yes, as the flesh tells the tale. We, however, are asked to walk in faith, which is something the natural eye cannot see. What can we see by faith of God's order? We certainly can see it in part, but it is the part we cannot see that might be a concern to us.

@bbyrd009 The blood [red] coming out is under the pressure of Jesus' concern for his own physical suffering to come and/or the unrelieved pain and suffering of the people around him until the Way is opened by him. Is the physical manifestation of blood being sweated out another type or...

@bbyrd009 Perhaps what I can make of this is that the Holy Spirit in us can only work for or against what it knows. What it knows is according to what we have consumed. If we faithfully eat of the flesh of Jesus, then the Holy Spirit has fresh and complete information and/or ammunition to...

Thank God it is going well for him. Keeping you and him in prayer!

Continuing to pray for Nathan!

Traditional Christmas in the United States may includes an evergreen tree in the home with lots of gaily wrapped presents under it for everyone in the household. Mistletoe may over a door requiring a male and female passing their together to kiss one another. The family may gather around on...

For man in the flesh there is only time while there is light. When we are in that city the Lamb will be the only Light available and the only Light required. In the meantime let us use the Light wisely if we can...

The dog knows because he has only God to guide him. We, on the other hand, have our high fallutin' mind to guide us. When we are led by God alone, we too will not need to refer to a map.

I would not say that those are the same. Because I cannot see them does not make them the same or different. The dead man is dead. I don't know if they are now dead or not. This is too much philosophy for me. I did two semesters in college. The first semester I loved never having delved into...

:):D And we move onward [in space, time, etc.] in trying to understand and/or explain God's order. If we get in all in the right order will it not then be completely clear? "And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands...

Making those things first is something that we should never stop doing. People too often simply don't understand the promise included in "and all these things shall be added unto you".

Christians, or people who call themselves Christians, are often found in this place of not understanding what they really need. They quite frequently and perhaps always pray "amiss". I always loved Bing Crosby's talent as a singer. I remember the sadness I felt when he died and so few seemed to...

Again my mind is going blank on this. Will you amplify spiritually if you can?

Help me with this. The white blood cells are for our bodies defense, right? They attack things within the blood stream that are hurting us or potentially could hurt us. Can you take it from there spiritually? I would appreciate it.

It is a dead carcass that we eat. It is not only eating the Bible, but things that we hear and see as we moved through God's creation. Everyone does it, but for most people, it remains mostly dead because they remain dead [this is dead to God]. When and if any of it is brought to Life in us...

The dogs are perhaps then where we have wanted and even strived to be. Without time. Are we clutching at straws of difference because of semantics, connotations, communication failures, or...?

Perhaps while we have time [or are in time], we have the temptations which when followed lead us to sin. When time completely gone from us, so are those temptations. When you get to that other plane with God and are not coming back ever then you would certainly be saved. This brings us back to...
