Do you really know Jesus and our Father?

You have some of the same problem I often have. Just a little obtuse or naïve or unobservant about some of the seemingly [to the world] simplest things. But that's OK. God loves us anyway..

    Confession

I remember when I first went to confession followed by my first Holy Communion clearly although it happened 60 some years ago. I felt good about the whole thing and I always did although with the confession it was difficult at times to get started. I always felt better for having done it.

    "Older Days"

Ah yes, when I was quite young, I remember setting my tricycle aside promising to get back to it later as I always loved riding it. When sometime later I thought about it and went to check, it was gone. My mother or step-father had seen to it. That all would have been in the 1940's [born in Dec...

    Sorry

@Philip James Welcome back. You are often a blessing to me here.

What's the Weather Like in your part of the world Right Now?

Yes, we have humidity! It has not really been super hot as heat goes. It is only in the 90's at the peak but even in the high 80's with humidity it can get quite uncomfortable. When I walk to our mail box about 25 to 30 yards away I have to walk slowly but not too slow in order to make it...

What's the Weather Like in your part of the world Right Now?

And here it is hot, hot, hot and MORE hot! Want to trade?

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

When someone unanointed, an real unbeliever, possibly even an atheist, simply quotes verbatim from the written text of the Bible with his lack of anointing and unbelief, it is certainly not the Word of God. Another person in the Spirit, that is anointed in the moment by God to open his mouth...

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

You must have the last word it would seem. At the moment my last words are: Give God the glory!

    Just fights, nothing but

Of course brother you are correct about the strife, but while we are not to be OF this world, until our time is finished, we are to be IN this world. Go then always as led by the Holy Spirit giving God the glory!

    The Saving Faith

One step at the time and one day at the time. You clearly do not understand me and have decided that you are correct in every point... So then: "...According to your faith be it unto you." "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from...

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

I am glad that you have put so much time and effort in this. If you continue to work in that direction maybe sometime God will speak to your heart about all of these things. Sorry, but I will not answer you in every point, as we both know that you would not be changed by that. Only God give the...

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

No argument. But I would clarify. I simply see two things, that which is carnal and that which is spiritual. In the OT the carnal ways of men affected their connection or lack thereof with God. But, nearly all or all of that related directly or indirectly to the spiritual connection with God...

Paul's Thorn In The Flesh=Not a Sickness but a Messenger of Satan to buffet me.

I would hope that I would not be led by what I imagine but rather by the Holy Ghost. Any time that I am not I am likely to head down the wrong pathway. Do we not hear His voice? If we are His sheep we most certainly do. If we are not hearing His voice than we should ask of God why we are not.

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

And who is it that made you a judge over me? Do you suppose that you could change the truth by logically [according to you] drawing a conclusion in support of your stand? Do we live for God by logic or by faith? "For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some...

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

We might consider just what the blood was in the OT and what the real blood of Jesus is. What if the first is but a type or shadow of the real thing which is not physical? Jesus did shed his natural blood, but was that the source of Life for you and for me? Within Jesus was real Life. Perhaps...

    The Saving Faith

You miss so much with such a stiffly restricted traditional view point. Has God no more for us? Consider the words penned by David some 3000 years ago: "Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine...

    The Saving Faith

Perhaps because we too often are accepting only one interpretation or only looking for only one interpretation we are missing everything God is saying. The purgatory I see is in us. It is the Holy Spirit in us that is supposed to be purging that which is not pleasing to God: cleaning us up...

And so it would seem that the beast is moving up...!

    Mother Teresa

Yes, indeed! Consider the best secular job you ever had and how many people after a while [short or long] most of the workers only complained about all the things that were wrong. That is not Christianity. That is man. Unfortunately, too many who claim to be followers of Christ manifest that...
