    Proof that Jesus is God

My Bible says in Acts that God raised Jesus from the dead. You are, of course, ignoring that as it proves Jesus is not God.

Sure it is because he was not referring to his body when he said it.

    Proof that Jesus is God

Oy vey. Not in John 6:60. The word is properly called "this." Beyond that, the "Him" of the Word is God, not Jesus. John 12:49 I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it.

    Proof that Jesus is God

LOL. Another sad trinitarian Appeal to Dualism. Jesus died and that’s how you know he is not God. Jesus does not even have the authority to decide who sits next to him. See Matthew 20:23. Not all powerful. Not God almighty.

    Once Saved Always Saved

The one who has sinned against Me I will blot out of My Book"--they're in, and they get removed.

More flaming! No but 'the word is God is figurative. You'll have more descendants than sand on the beach is figurative.

Planning on getting a new Bible today. Is the KJV necessary?

Don't tell me what I want. I don't like word for word translations as they are far to choppy & wordy for today's 30-second ad way of communicating. For instance: Jesus came in from the rain. After he came in, he went down stairs. After he went downstairs, he took off his raincoat and goulashes...

The Bible is highly figurative. This is one of those times.

If you did not repeat yourself so much, you'd sound like a broken record.

Planning on getting a new Bible today. Is the KJV necessary?

Agreed. KJVism, KJV-only suppresses access to the Word in 2 ways: 1. Strongly condemns other translations (except maybe NKJV) 2. Makes it more difficult to understand in a non-native language. (Middle English is not native to any living person.)

Planning on getting a new Bible today. Is the KJV necessary?

You too have been victimized by this Christian IDOLATRY. So at odds with Romans 14:1, 13.

Planning on getting a new Bible today. Is the KJV necessary?

IDOLATRY is not made for God's kingdom. Other translations are obsolete but you don't see people pushing them AS IF the parchment ought to be worshipped.

    Proof that Jesus is God

Jesus is not God as Jesus literally died. God cannot die. See the literal difference?

My Methodist Church is leaving the denomination.

Interesting way to put it. A non-response. Only one denomination thinks Jesus founded a church on Peter. There are over 30,000 denominations and only 1 thinks this. A trolling, flaming non-response!

Acts 2:38 has been abandoned by Christianity

It remains in the Bible approved by those denominations. How so abandoned?

Planning on getting a new Bible today. Is the KJV necessary?

I also like the NLT. The VOICE translation came out in 2012 and is written in manuscript format, making it explicit who is talking. The Ephesians 4:29 VOICE translation convicts me more than any other verse in the entire Bible. You'll see me post this translation the most. These, along with CEV...

    Proof that Jesus is God

Right. Figurative language. Words are not beings.

    Proof that Jesus is God

I reject the implied premise of your question. It is not God who became flesh but his word. His words were spoken by a man he chose as Moses wrote in Deuteronomy 18:15-18.

Planning on getting a new Bible today. Is the KJV necessary?

I don't think you do. Do you think you would have come to Christ if that church used another translation or did you come to Christ only because of the KJV translation? To say I dislike the KJV is missing the mark a bit. I simply do not speak Middle English and do not and will not read any...

    Proof that Jesus is God

LOL I understand and reject trinitarianism in all its permutations. Did you not read Deuteronomy 18:15-18? God did not 'become flesh' his words were put in a man. Can you not understand the difference between a word and a being?
