Trinitarianism is self-contradictory, defying logic, definition and language usage. No one beget's themselves. Nonsense indeed! What I find so pernicious is they act as though this self-contradictory doctrine is the heart of Scripture, as if there is a verse that says The nature of God is a...

Good point! The force behind trinitarianism is the man-is-god thesis. I found the easiest way to destroy trinitarianism is to expose the non-existence of the '3rd' person. Certainly Jesus and the Apostles were not trinitarians as Jesus never prayed to the Holy Spirit and the Apostles stubbornly...

Solid proof that Jesus is not God, BTW, Behold, we agree that that is partly the will of God to believe in Jesus whom God sent. Elsewhere Scripture specifically says @ Mark 11:25 to forgive others so you may be forgiven. You are dangerous in promoting a partial Gospel! Withholding forgiveness...

I like thought translations as it is much more enjoyable to read.

Mathematical Certainty, 356 Prophecies Fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The odds that Jesus fulfilled all these prophecies and is not the Messiah is greater than the likelihood of DNA being correct by a factor too great to comprehend. From Is Jesus for Real? Mathematical Proof! The time of His birth...

Showing God's people based their belief on evidence. Below are the words of King David. 11 The waters covered their adversaries; not one of them was left. 12 Then they believed his words; they sang his praise. Psalm 106:11-12 (NSRV)

Action necessary to be forgiven. Mark 11:25 And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

Dueling threads

Projecting. Speaking of the Cross, I never got a rational explanation on how you dismiss the very words of Christ on point at Matthew 7:21.

Found a powerful verse undermining OSAS: This is what the Lord says: “Do not go to funerals to mourn and show sympathy for these people, for I have removed my protection and peace from them. I have taken away my unfailing love and my mercy. Jeremiah 16:5 The LORD giveth, the LORD taketh away.

Interesting question. My answer is no. I believe the point is to strengthen Christian fellowship. A modern day application is AA. Sure, the alcoholics may commit other sins but the sin they have in common is the one they struggle with and will greatly benefit by sharing their struggles with it.

Agreed. Sounds better when you say it. The VOICE translation uses the word Eternal to emphasize that the LORD God alone does not die and always was, not created - unlike the begotten Son.

The problem with your rants is your opponents do not accept your terms or categorization. That is, I accept the atonement of Christ AND reject OSAS. Using language like the Devils Gospel is inflammatory and I did notice you just ignored my Scriptural question. Poor form. Taking the risk of...

We surely do need each other. That is God’s plan. How long have you known Ed & Linda? I pray the medical teams and equipment perform at divine levels, even better than the team members though possible in bringing relief to our brother and sister. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

Strong statement. Where does Scripture say if you don’t accept OSAS, you yourself cannot be saved?

My prayers are with them.

Jesus NEVER said he was God. He performed miracles and forgave sins for the same reason the Apostles. God delegated power. We know Jesus was not God for many reasons. One is he said he was GIVEN all authority. Another way we know Jesus is not God is that Jesus died.

It’s amazing how you recite this nonsense not in Scripture. What does it mean ‘Today I am your Father?’ It means Jesus - like all of us later - are chosen children of God, adopted, not God of God.

Right. Same with Jesus. In harmony with God but not God. That’s what John 17:22 means.

Great point!
