This Is For You Mate ~ Hope this cheers you up a little!

Thank you dear sister for sharing these things here for all of us in need. That certainly includes me.

    WHAT Is the Trinity?

Perhaps we are simply talking about sharing what is "good" which we know is God. What has God given to any of us is our connection with and through Jesus, is it not? How do we share the Light which is now in us? As the old man of us decreases and the new man of us increases, it should be easier...

What's the Weather Like in your part of the world Right Now?

Pretty nice out now, but rain storm expected the afternoon. Today in the 80's but with the rain comes a cool front keeping high tomorrow in low 60's or even high 50's. That is Fahrenheit by the way.

Is the Bible lying ?... Was Jesus?

I simply and just keep on smiling. God keeps me busy. If I fall down on Him, I get into trouble real fast.

    Is Temptation Evil?

In itself, I would say, "no"! There is a tempter, whatever people say that he is and when we jump on his bandwagon with the idea of making something more substantial our of the temptation it becomes sin. The letter of a law or laws may describe for us the black and white rules which when...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

I do understand you. Every time we are to make a new decision affecting our walk with God we need to be ready to again turn the reins over to Him. Often or always we may need to ask Him for help to do even that.

    Called

@VictoryinJesus Consider that that is the Way to qualify for inclusion in this group: "These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful." Rev 17:14 Whatever some...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

Of course with regard to becoming an overcomer, I disagree with most, but along the way until the particular point under discussion or any others is under control [overcome?], the problem remains. The "written on the heart" is the good part, but people who are believers, I believe, too often...

    Interpretation Is The Problem.

About the ice cream you are certainly right although it seldom, if ever, has become boring to me. On Bible translations and interpretations, the worst of the former can be used by God to bring home the truth to someone is hungry and thirsty for God's righteousness, whereas the worst of the...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

Quite a number of years ago I recall a very old preacher behind the pulpit saying something to this effect: "There may be snow on top, but there is still fire down below" We might call that blunt or some might doubt that it should not be said in public, but sometimes we need to face even the...

    What Is A Christian?

Man got what he thought he wanted when King Saul was given rule. God wanted them to seek Him and to worship and to acknowledge Him alone as their King, but they had to learn the hard way so God gave them a king. Someone thought that democracy would be better with each person being able to do...

Job 31:1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

    What Is A Christian?

There is probably little doubt that Lincoln set aside the law of man to advance his own beliefs in places, but that still has little to do with the point which I brought up about him. However, on your point, sometimes it might take a good dictator to get some good things done. I am hardly in...

    What Is A Christian?

Considering that he died about 150 years ago, I am sure that I don't. However, in the one example that I cited I must agree with him which puts me on his side at the moment.

    Just saw this on FB

Fortunately my time in Viet Nam was very early in U.S. involvement. I went there in August of 1964 as a microwave radio repairman when there were only 16,000 Americans there. When I went home 12 months later the number had increased to 65,000 and for the most part the additional number consisted...

Is the Bible lying ?... Was Jesus?

Wish I were there, maybe 20 to 30 years ago but it don't happen that way, does it? It may change soon, but for the moment, I have no time to spare for mush of anything else. I spend my time with God reading the Bible and reading or reponding to internet post like this. I attend services a...

Unfortunately it is too much a part of the world we now live in... On the guns. I have never owned a gun of any kind. When I was in the army I learn to shoot targets, but never had cause to shoot at anything else even when on guard duty in Viet Nam. After getting out of the army I bought a...

Is the Bible lying ?... Was Jesus?

I still wouldn't want to do it. I spent of my growing up days in a small town in California. My step-dad was a workaholic and we had several massive walnut trees that produced tons of the things. My brother and I would pick them up off the ground, take them in the house and crack them on my...

Is the Bible lying ?... Was Jesus?

I'm likely to agree as I am not the partaker of such things as I once was.

Would it then warrant a trip to those places to partake in such a harvest?
