I Feel Like My Relationship With Christ Is Wavering

April_Rose, it is never a good idea to give anyone the power to make you feel a certain way.

    Why Can't Women Become Priests?

There is a verse about an evangelist having their doctrine refined by a woman, Lydia, I think. What do you make of that verse?

    Mary’s children?

The flaw is not in logic. The flaw is in your word play.

Who is : The Original Bible Corrector

This is something that always bothered me. Everyone will be resurrected but the damned are only resurrected to be punished. Seems like a waste of or counterproductive use of resurrection power.

Men, would you have problems being with someone who looks like a Mennonite?

Not at all. Don't let your heart be troubled. Sad commentary about our society that so many women can dress like ladies of the night and that is AOK but dress extra conservatively and what is wrong with you. I swear our world has its moral poles reversed.

Who is : The Original Bible Corrector

It does not matter where it comes from. What matters is Scripture. IMO there is more in favor than opposed. Let's pursue this logically. On Judgement Day, all will be resurrected, correct? What purpose does this resurrection serve if people are already aware in death?

So, in your estimation, all babies who die are damned?

I think this is the wrong interpretation of Judgement Day. Are you familiar with 'second death' in Scripture?

    No authority!

That authority is clearly spelled out in 1 Corinthians 11:3. Christ, not man, is the authority of men.

    No authority!

Not this crap again! This is the 21st century. I suggest you join it. I don’t care what words were used half a Millenia ago. For some odd reason, you are trying to fit words today into a lingo not commonly spoken today. It’s such a distraction and that is why modern translations exist. HINT...

Belief in God is like Belief in Santa Claus

The Big Bang is a scientific term for Creation.

    No authority!

Right. However, Peter died some time ago. You are reading 'successors' into the text.

Our calling is the Great Commission. How each of us specifically go about spreading the Good News is a different calling. Jesus command to NOT resist evil is universal. We are in no way called to seek out and destroy evil. In fact, we are prohibited from doing that. See Romans 12:9-21

    Mary’s children?

A range of meanings? You are confusing abuse with the proper use of words. Instead of being a vehicle for communication, you are treating words as barriers making communication impossible.

    No authority!

Peter is God in some capacity in your estimation. Wow!

No sarcasm. I brought up a valid point to discuss, the apparent acceptance of the subjugation of men.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. Having said that, I’m not sure how true this claim is. One thing I’ve been researching lately is ‘soul sleep.’ I’d call it a minor doctrine either way. Most Christians hold to a central theme of God and his Son.

Your gynocentrism is showing. My point was about his sexism in apparently being OK with the subjugation of men.
