    Mary’s children?

Sorry but you are projecting your 21st century world view onto the text. Legal father is the only context. “Biological” is not a part of ancient religious literature. Said differently, where else in the Bible. is biological relationships differentiated among family of origin terms father...

    Mary’s children?

Maybe in slang use. This link does not show that word meaning. Definition of BROTHERHere is where the requirement is for an adjective, ‘step.’ Or qualifies some other way, such as soul sister, brother in arms, etc. Otherwise, we are allowing word play to let words mean whatever you want. If I...

    The Case Against the Trinity

Exactly! This is called the Shama in Hebrew, the most important commandment. Trinitarianism prefer the more vague rendering in Matthew to the obviously anti-trinitarian Mark 12 rendering.

    Mary’s children?

Is to suppose doubt from the text when there is none. Supposition is not evidence. Brother means biological, by default. You got nothing but supposition. Suppose that by brother they did not mean biological. I already pointed out how your supposition has no Biblical comparison, such as...

    The Case Against the Trinity

Not at all. All who can strengthen the case against the trinity are welcome to post their insights. For instance, the trinity is not in the Bible and is written 100% by unitarian Jews, who to this day reject trinitarianism. This forms the basis for interpreting any individual verse.

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Nope? Nope. This thread is about the words of Jesus, obliterating the co-equal claim. Rather than accept this reality, you Appeal to Diversion in introducing any other verse.

    The Case Against the Trinity

How does this strengthen the case AGAINST the trinity?

    Mary’s children?

OK. I now realize what you are going on and on and on about. I keep thinking we are done doing laps but you keep lapping. Going back to points already discussed. I have no idea why you are repeatedly emphasizing somebody who does not know us. You are obsessed now with some odd personal attack...

    No authority!

I don't understand your question. What passages? What interpretations by man? Are you asking me: 1. my view on losing salvation or 2. my view on how to handle differences in denominational doctrines on the matter?

LOL. You lost. Lord ≠ LORD. Jesus said as much regarding it being forgivable to blasphemy him but not forgivable to blasphemy the Holy Spirit of God.

In no way am I conceding the point. Since you cannot differentiate between man and God, lord/Lord and LORD, there is no point doing laps.

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

I've already explained this. You seem to have no reading comprehension. All the lords I mentioned are specific, and therefore, capital L, Lord Vader, etc. There is only one all capital LORD, which is clearly differentiated in Psalm 110:1. Since this thread is not to debate the man-is-God...

In no sense is the father = the son (except trinity land).

Yes, is merely a lord. All lords are merely lords over who owe them loyalty. In the case of Voldemort, he is the lord over dark wizards. In the case of Vader, he is the lord over the Sith. In the case of Jesus, he is the lord over those who accept him as their savior. But no lord is the LORD God.

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

I've addressed this over a dozen times already. God is synonymous with LORD, capital. There are many lords, lowercase: Voldemort, Vader, Cornwallis, Jesus, etc. Trinitarians deliberately want to confuse the 2. The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your...

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

But it is the relevant part of the verse. There is only one God, the Father. The Bible makes this point over and over again. You should pray like this: Our Father in heaven Jesus, Matthew 6:9

The Bible says Jesus is not God over and over and over again. Please construct a stronger anti-trinitarian statement: 'For us, there is one God, the Father.' 1 Corinthians 8:6

    The Case Against the Trinity

Post #429 does not explain anything. You merely make an Appeal to Diversion. Rather than address the verse that makes the case AGAINST, you want to change the discussion to a verse that is FOR.

Well, before I elaborate on my argument, please answer my question: Wasn't Jesus torn apart from the Father at the cross?

    No authority!

No. I'm trying to take man asserted authority out of the equation. (And I am not merely talking about the individual error in the face of the collective communion with the Holy Spirit but among denominations). Let's say the question of whether or not one can lose their salvation. I know for a...
