Followers of Jesus are resident aliens in the world.

Jesus and the apostles are quite clear about how the followers of Jesus are to treat their enemies. Killing Muslims = not the way.

Followers of Jesus must follow the teaching and example of Jesus and the apostles, not the US government (nor any other government of the world.)

Let the governments of the world be about their business and the followers of Jesus be about theirs.

Romans 13. What a government of the world does is not the same as what the follower of Jesus does.

They should. (If they didn’t, I might. I would certainly be prepared for it.) Crusades = Christianity betrayed; an apostate Christianity.
