Which is worse, murder or eternal torture?

When that happens we need to repent. Wouldn’t you agree?

Which is worse, murder or eternal torture?

Whoever taught you that Jesus is going to torture people for eternity doesn’t understand what Jesus will be doing for eternity. Listen to what Jesus himself says. Listen to what Jesus says through the apostles. He‘s not a torturer. It’s the devil who wants you to believe that he is. Don’t allow...

Which is worse, murder or eternal torture?

Your time is precious but you’re not wasting it here. I think you’re meant to be here.

Which is worse, murder or eternal torture?

The followers of Jesus aren’t at liberty to break the golden rule and will not be torturing anyone, ever.

    QUOTE for the day

“One day, the opinions of people who mocked your faith will mean absolutely nothing. The judgment of Christ will mean everything.” - Scott Roberts

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

@Mancunian is Jesus not having returned yet the reason why you aren’t following him?

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

I would be worried if I wasn’t a follower of Jesus.

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

Thanks. The Church of England isn’t giving the people what they need. Looks can be deceiving. The gospel of the kingdom, as Jesus and the apostles preached it, is what we should look for.

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

They anticipated a soon return, but scripture doesn’t say that Jesus would return before his original disciples died. They were given a commission to preach the gospel to the whole world. That is still going on, conducted by his disciples in the 21st century. The church grew tired of waiting...

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

You have a desire to read scripture in times of trouble. I want to encourage you to dip in more frequently. Jesus has the words of life and he will give that life to all who come to him. Has anything changed in the Church of England for the better? What I read about it leads me to think that...

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

No. God wants all men to be saved. When the positions in the government that are being prepared by the Messiah are filled, then there will be no further delay. It’s not about how bad things have got to get. Things are going to get much worse before the Messiah returns. What it‘s about is the...

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

That’s an interesting explanation. I would ask a Jew where the Messiah’s place will be that he is preparing for his bride to rule with him. (The answer I would be looking for is Jerusalem.)

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

@Mancunian when is the last time that you read the Bible?

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

    Infinitely. The Messiah wants you.

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

That’s the right question to ask. It didn’t happen because that’s not why he was sent. It will happen because that’s why he’ll be sent back. This is what the unbelieving Jews haven’t understood. That’s right. The one whom the prophets spoke about. We are 2,000 years closer to his return than...

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

@Mancunian. Occupation: Caretaker. Potential occupation: Caretaker of the world; in his majesty the Messiah’s service.

The good man that turned bad out of necessity

Excellent. Step inside my recruiting office, please. You’re absolutely right about man left to himself not being able to fix the problem. That’s never going to happen. The Messiah will fix this problem when he returns. His coming government, comprised of his followers, will put an end to it...
