Jesus is the Son of his God

Yes, but only functionally equal. “The Father is greater than I” (John 14:28). The Messiah’s God is above the Messiah. Your spirit is you. God’s Spirit is God. “The plural form of the verb has been the subject of much discussion through the years, and not surprisingly several suggestions...

    Write it on your calendar

She hasn’t been raptured. She posted this message on her YouTube channel today: As you can see for yourself, she has prophesied that it will be one more week before Jesus comes, and she invites her readers to stone her if her prophesy doesn’t come to pass. It won’t.

    Jesus submitted to his God

That can happen occasionally. Don’t beat yourself up over it. One of the good things about our “ten program” is that if either one of us gets behind a day or two, it’s not hard to quickly catch up and get right back on track. I finished today’s ten. *** @JLB thank you for encouraging him.

What books are you currently reading?

Offered for your consideration, a reading tip:

Jesus is the Son of his God

She clearly doesn’t understand what you’re saying. She hasn’t done the reading that is necessary to understand you and she isn’t going to. It was never her intention to slander you. Are you going to report her or show her mercy and grace?

Jesus is the Son of his God

Yahweh is speaking prophetically to someone who isn’t Yahweh. @David in NJ knows this is true. That is why he doesn’t, and can’t, see that it is the Father speaking here to Jesus, the Messiah, his Son. That’s why he doesn’t, and can’t, say that the AMP is correct. That is why he says, and must...

Jesus is the Son of his God

It bears repeating -> elohim is a Hebrew word which is always, without exception, plural in form but almost never plural in meaning. “Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, Son of the living God.” - Peter’s confession (Matthew 16:16). Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, Son of the living elohim. In...

Jesus is the Son of his God

You were given the exact post number by another member where he introduced the phrase “one gods”. Mono -> one Poly -> more than one Monotheism -> one God Polytheism - more than one god

Jesus is the Son of his God

    I just did.

Jesus is the Son of his God

You asked where the trouble started. You asked where to look, two times, and you were told where to look. What is the point of asking and being told if you aren’t going to read it? You just saw two distinct and separate elohim in the passage and your response is “whatever”? Elohim and elohim...

Jesus is the Son of his God

Then why did you ask where it was? Saying God with an “s” on the end gives the word game away. Gods is plural. More than one God. Polytheism. The Father and the Son are both individually identified as elohim. There are two elohim in the passage, not one. Only one of them is the God of Israel.

Jesus is the Son of his God

Why are you not pushing back against his “one gods” teaching? Do you think it’s harmless?
  13. Matthias

Jesus is the Son of his God

“One gods” isn’t a biblical concept. It means absolutely nothing. Would you be interested in buying some square circles from him? It‘s false teaching. If you don’t speak against it and some poor soul believes it, do you bear any responsibility?

Jesus is the Son of his God

The teaching of @David in NJ says that you are. Continue looking and let me know if you see it.

Jesus is the Son of his God

Do you see “one gods” anywhere among them?

    Jesus submitted to his God

A little encouragement for us @Riven.
