The good the bad, and the rest

He won’t, apparently, so I will. Elohim, when plural in meaning, is always translated “gods“ in English. Gods = more than one god = polytheism, not monotheism.

The good the bad, and the rest

That’s a wild claim. Jesus, himself a Jewish monotheist, would never agree with it. The God of the Bible is the God of Jewish monotheism.
  3. Matthias

The good the bad, and the rest

That’s Jewish monotheism. Jesus is a Jewish monotheist. His God, his elohim, is only one person, the Father, abba, Yahweh. ”Blessed be the God and Father of our lord Jesus Messiah.” - Peter and Paul (both Jewish monotheists)

No. Yahweh is Abba and he was speaking before the beginning of creation.

Whenever that is, that is when Yahweh began speaking in his Son.

Please translate it as plural then for me in English. When elohim is plural in meaning - which it rarely is in scripture - it could be any number greater than 1. Yahweh himself spoke to the OT saints.

There are many singular elohim in scripture. The Messiah’s elohim - the Father - is the echad elohim of Jewish monotheism. The echad elohim is the one (singular) God (singular) of the Bible. Yahweh - the one (singular) God (singular) - spoke to the OT Saints. When did “these last days”...
