If the Catholic Church gave us the Bible, where is it?

I'm just seeking out that original Bible that they claimed to have made.

If the Catholic Church gave us the Bible, where is it?

One would think that they would have made a couple-few editions of their "Bible". Maybe they did but were lost? The earliest known Bible of which I'm aware was made by King James, but I presume that there are lesser known Bibles that had already been created.

If the Catholic Church gave us the Bible, where is it?

The topic is where is that so-called "Bible" that the Catholic Church brags about creating.

If the Catholic Church gave us the Bible, where is it?

The modern Catholic Church teaches that Jesus and the apostles failed to give us all sorts of doctrines.

If the Catholic Church gave us the Bible, where is it?

    The Catholic Church. :)

If the Catholic Church gave us the Bible, where is it?

We're told that the "Catholic Church" created the Bible but don't actually have one to show. Interesting.

If the Catholic Church gave us the Bible, where is it?

I thank God for using his people to compile and share the word. Whatever the church of Rome was in those days is a distant memory to what it sadly mutated into. Thanks for your perspective.

Jesus talked about hell more than any other person in the Bible. - Seriously?

Then Luke was a heretic and everything he wrote should be ignored based on the fact that your statement contradicts Luke and I know with certainty that your word trumps his. Luke 3:6 and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

Who did Jesus Die a Ransom for?

Then Jesus is NOT the savior of all people as Paul claimed. Instead, Jesus is only the POTENTIAL savior of all people. Thanks for demonstrating that Paul was a heretic. I will dismiss everything he wrote and listen to you instead.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

I believe Paul was speaking about every person who ever lived. Anyway, I appreciate your perspective. Thanks for sharing!

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

Evil, unrepentant, remorseless, people are probably sent to Hell. No, they are not saved from that fate. I'm saying that they will repent while in Hell and THEN they will be saved. In the end, all will be resurrected and one with God. 1 Corinthians 15.

Who did Jesus Die a Ransom for?

Amen my sister. I always enjoy and appreciate that we can share our understandings, disagree about them, and remain friends. May God bless all here.

Our physical bodies, yes. However, I believe our souls immediately go to Heaven or Hell. I don't believe in "soul sleep". Jesus didn't soul sleep and neither does anyone else, or so I believe.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

My brother, I simply asked which Bible translation of Revelation 20 I should use.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

I believe the Bible from which you are borrowing these scriptures contradicts itself. In the verses that you shared here they say that people are condemned forever. In 1 Timothy 4:10 (and other) it says that Jesus is the savior of ALL people. So which is it? The CLNT does not contradict...

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

I believe the word "everlasting" is a mistake. I believe the following translation is correct. Mathew 25:41 CLNT 41 "Then shall He be declaring to those also at His left, 'Go from Me, you cursed, into the fire eonian, made ready for the Adversary and his messengers.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

I'm not so sure. Sometimes I think destruction may mean "destroying" what something is in order to transform it into something else, something pure. For instance... Proverbs 25:4 esv Take away the dross from the silver, and the smith has material for a vessel

Who did Jesus Die a Ransom for?

I appreciate your perspectives, my sister, but I do not share them.
