I do like the Left Behind films. The last one wasn't as good as the first two though. I saw Fireproof, it was okay. Some of the dialog is stilted/wooden. It's the same with many of the Christian films. Not that I'm the Queen of writing great dialog, but when I hear bad dialog, I cringe...

I for one celebrate Resurrection Sunday. I used to participate in the Easter Egg thing when I was a kid. I don't think there's anything wrong with giving the kids a little chocolate or dying eggs as long as they know that we are not celebrating anything other than the resurrection of Jesus.

I believe it's because of tradition. People do what their grandparents/parents did. Mostly they see Easter as the coming of spring and not a religious Holiday. Even if they go to church it's because of tradition. Christmas--Who wouldn't want to participate unless you are of another...
