I have 2 prayer requests. The first is for my wife, Linda, who is losing weight. Eating is painful to her. She experiences nausea, abdominal pain, has had about 45 bowel movements in a week, induced by laxatives because of the abdominal pain. There are physical and psychological factors. Stress exacerbates her problems.

My brother's brother-in-law, Tom was recently diagnosed with level 4 lung cancer. He does not smoke. He works about 4 jobs to support his family, including an autistic chil.d

I also need to add that my wife also experiences vivid nightmares often dealing with death, cemeteries, morgues and often involving her children or her deceased father. I am certain that there is a demonic factor in her illness and nightmares and a physical component as well.

Hi newlife. I am so sorry, there is a lot going on right now concerning you and your loved ones. WE ALL NEED TO PRAY FOR YOU !

I did not understand, please forgive me, why is your wife taking laxatives ? Up until that part it sounded like what I have, severe irritable bowel syndrome. Is it cause she suffers from constipation ? Cause that is another symptom of irritable bowel syndrome (I have the other one, where the bowels are loose unless I take meds. Sorry to be graphic, but I'm trying to understand what this is.) This condition is EXTREMELY painful. Has your wife seen a doctor ?
And yes, the dreams do seem like an attack, due to their nature, for fear is not of God. I will so be praying for Linda. And your brother's brother-in-law.

HANG IN THERE. GOD IS WITH YOU IN THESE TRIALS.

PRAYING FOR YOU AND YOURS !

Laid Renard, she has seen and is currently seeing various doctor's. She takes laxatives to ease the pain as she must constantly evacuate to relieve pain and pressure. I have never seen her as weak as she was today, hardly able to walk and needing support. I offered to take her to the emergency room but she does not feel that it would be useful as they would put her on an IV and then release her.

newlife,

I am still praying for your two requests.

Did the doctors say what it may be ? And if she is still like this tomorrow I think you should make her go to the ER. Did she try to go before and that is what they did to her ? A lot of times God uses doctors to heal us. And I have found that many times the ER doctors are much more helpful in diagnosing than regular doctors.

Like I said, try and get her to go. And in the mean time, we will be praying, praying, praying !

In His Love,

Thank you for your prayers, Laid Renard and 7Angels. Linda does have a diagnosis of iirritable bowel syndrome, GERD and slow gut motility as well as others. She did go to the emergency room yesterday and was discharged with no clear explanation given for her symptoms. I was out of the room when the doctor asked her to walk and told her that she walked fine and that she should never have come to the ER but seen her primary doctor. Her primary doctor just died and she is in the process of being reassigned and was told by her clinic to go to the ER. I spoke to the nurse before she left the hospital but was not able to get any where. All of her blood work, EKG and other tests were normal. She has barely been able to walk over the previous 2 days. She has tremors and involuntary jerking movements especially of her upper torso and makes a strange involuntary horse-like neighing sound when awake and while she sleeps. I am concerned that there may be some type of neurological problem, possibly as a side effect of some of her psychotropic medications, extrapyramidal symptoms or tardive dyskinesia , in which involuntary movements occur. I also believe there is a demonic aspect to all of this and the situation is actually more complicated then what I am relating. I have been having e-mail correspondence with Angelina, Super Moderator, of this forum and I don't believe I should go into any more detail at this time.. Because I have a demanding job and I'm also trying to deal with my wife's issues and be a source of stability for he r I may not be able to answer all of our inquiries immediately. I also need time to spend with the Lord and in prayer, which is later in the evening and my time is often compromised by various demands. 7 Angels, in answer to your question I have not been applying any scriptures related to healing to my wife'e condition and perhaps should. The verses I have been focusing on are more related to spiritual warfare.

My wife is gradually improving. She is walking better, with more strength. Her eating has especially improved. Her nightmares are much less frequent. Thank you for your prayers.
