I am submitting this for consideration to all involved on this forum, as this is most serious times and there is much wonderment about the 2 Witnesses and the end-times, etc. If one pays attention to the chaotic news of the day and claim to be Christian, they should consider what this man has to say.-------------------2008- God’s Final WitnessA revelation of the Bible’s Book of RevelationBy Ronald Weinland, of Prophesied End-Time BooksOffered for free at http://www.the-end.com Author and Pastor Ronald Weinland declares that from now till the latter part of the year 2008 we will see the dramatic increase in prophetic fulfillments that will herald the demise of the United States and the British Commonwealth. These will come in the form of seven ‘types’ of events the author classifies as “The Seven Thunders of the Book of Revelation,” events that God has revealed only to him. Why? Because Ronald Weinland asserts he is both a prophet of the God of Abraham and one of the Two Witnesses, for which he is the primary spokesman.Ronald Weinland proclaims that God has sent a prophet to his people before any time of judgment. Indeed, such a time is rapidly around the corner, a time of judgment like none ever seen- one that will encompass the entire world. 2008—God's Final Witness is meant to declare how judgment is going to be carried out, and why!The world is marred with religious confusion and conflicting ideas about who God is and how to follow him. Every religion believes it is right, and yet Ronald Weinland states clearly that all religions claiming their origin in the patriarch Abraham (Traditional views of Christianity included!) are inventions of men and distortions of what the Bible really teaches. What is worse is that even if the truth is glaring men in the face, they will refuse to listen because humanity as a whole is so steeped in personal pride and self-righteousness. “Man has never known God nor does it want to know the true God,” teaches Ronald Weinland. But now, at the end of Man’s allotted 6000-year rule on the world, God is going to humble mankind in the most terrible fashion ever witnessed to break this pride. All of this is to occur just before the return of Jesus Christ and his saints to rule as King of Kings over the whole Earth.Ronald Weinland believes that seven types of events will continue in increasing magnitude leading up to the opening of the Seventh Seal of Revelation. All of these are intended to lend validity to his claim of being God’s Prophet and one of the Two Witnesses. These types of events are:-The terror of warfare-Increasing destruction of geological activity, such as volcanoes and earthquakes-Growing destructiveness of weather-Global financial upheaval-Death in three forms- the death of the prominent leadership within organizations claiming to be the Church of God, death of prominent figures in the world, and death from epidemics.-The growing declaration of God’s Two Witnesses-The acceleration of the unveiling of God to all mankindAfterwards the Seven Trumpets will begin to blow, the first four bringing the end to the United States. Ronald Weinland teaches that this will lead up to a great conflict between a significantly strengthened European Union and a conglomeration of Asiatic powers. If Christ did not intervene at the end of the three and one-half year time period all this will occur in, there would be no mankind left to save. Ronald Weinland believes the entire world will be caught off guard by these prophetic events. Most in Traditional Christianity believe the seals of Revelation have not even been opened yet, but this is because they do not realize those seals were fulfilled by prophetic events in God’s small and relatively unknown Church. Even during these great traumatic events, most of humanity will still be too steeped in pride to change their ways to that of God’s.It is Ronald Weinland’s job to declare all these things to the world as God’s prophet. Only time will tell if these statements are valid.About the Author: An author whose first book has now been read by people in over 100 countries, Ronald Weinland is first and foremost the pastor of God's Church. He has been a minister in the Church of God for more than twenty-five years. Every Saturday (seventh-day Sabbath) he speaks to a church congregation, but each week in different areas across the United States. The Church of God (or anyone interested in listening) is able to hear those sermons in the U.S. and Canada, regardless of where they are located, because they are broadcast live on the Church website at the same time each week (Saturday at 2:30 pm EST). In addition to visiting various scattered congregations in the United States, Ronald Weinland and his wife, Laura, also travel to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Europe. He does this to warn and prepare people for what lies ahead in the traumatic events that will unfold over the few remaining years of this prophetic end-time. Although the Church of God has not been accustomed to having a prophet for nearly 1900 years, God made him a prophet in 1997. His first book, The Prophesied End-Time (published in mid-2004), is the product of what God has given him concerning prophetic end-time events that have already begun to be fulfilled, events that are occurring exactly as he has written in the book. His latest book, 2008—God's Final Witness, pinpoints the timing of these end-time events and adds additional information beyond what the first book covered. 2008—God's Final Witness is a revelation of the Book of Revelation. As Ronald Weinland explains, the apostle John was given the task of recording prophetic events reserved for revelation at this end-time, and he states that he has been given the task of revealing the truth about those things John wrote. As John wrote, God explained to him that the meaning of what he was writing would not be revealed until the time came to unseal the Seven Seals of Revelation, six of which have already been opened. Unlike The Da Vinci Code, which is fiction, 2008—God's Final Witness is true and reveals hidden secrets that man has not been able to uncover for thousands of years. Of the three major religions of the world who claim belief in the God of Abraham (Islam, Judaism and Christianity), no one has ever known the prophecies that are revealed in this book, which are beginning to unfold even now. 2008—God's Final Witness reveals the Seven Thunders of the Book of Revelation, which the apostle John was not allowed to record! It also gives more specific end-time prophecies that will sharply increase during the next year and one-half when the final tribulation of this world strikes. That destructive power will quickly cripple world governments and destroy the world economy over a six-month period. The year 2008 is prophesied as pivotal for the end-time. Ronald Weinland says that 2008 will mark the beginning of the final events that will thrust the world into the great tribulation (last three and one-half years of the end-time), which will usher in World War III, the death of billions, and on the last day of this great tribulation, the return of Jesus Christ.

quite often I watch the news and see all of the terror that the world is experiencing and can be taken immediately to the book of Revelation and see that the prophecy of Revelation is and will come to pass. That does not mean however, that I am receiving anything new from the Lord but confirmation that all prophecy will be fulfilled. I must agree with kriss, there is much going over the internet by people who get strong "feelings" about the mess our world is in and claim that God is telling them something when in fact I believe that our own souls are aware of the impending times to come. I'm not saying the man is a false prophet or anything like that. I just think there are too many clanging cymbols out there living off of fears of the soul.We can do nothing but remain in Him and under His wing of protection. We cannot stop what is going to come. All we can do is continue to teach the gospel and have faith in our Savior.

Everything he has said either comes directly from the Bible or the plans of the Zionist controlled Illuminati masonic secret societies. With the exception of giving sort of a date of fall of 2008 when the U.S. will cease to be a country. That is from something he wrote. He is right about the U.S. ceasing to be a sovereign country but I doubt very seriously that will happen before the next puppet president attacks Iran. This guy is one of the many false prophets that Jesus warned about. AND HE IS CERTAINLY NOT ONE OF THE TWO WITNESSES OR CANDLESTICKS. I don't believe they come on the scene until after the abomination of desolation

This man is a self-deceived, self appointed "prophet," in my personal judgment. Hint: prophets in the Bible gave an oracular word of exortation to God's people. They called them back to God- as He is as opposed to their imaginations of him. They called people to love, obediance and holiness. Specific predictions were a small and a sometimes absent part of their ministry. When predictions were made, they were few, quite purposeful and accurate. They were always Israel centered, covenant based, Law centered and rooted in Abraham's promises. To string together scriptures and thusly predict certain future events and then claim that you are a prophet because of this is obviouosly an error. Prophecy in the Bible is not at all about the modern western world or America per se anyhow, although the scriptures can readliy be applied to those things.
