that's a good article, and on point with Philippians 4:8 in these last days. especially where she says, " Too often, we go to the extreme. If you feel you've reached a saturation point with, say, the news, will banning all television and news websites for the rest of your life give you peace? Probably not. In fact, it may do more harm than good, much as divorcing a negative wife, or husband, may bring temporary peace but in the long run permanent pain. Peace is a gift God's Spirit gives us when we surrender to Him. Ask for discernment of specifics with your problem and then tackle them".
we have not because we ask not.
Most Christian want a quick fix. no suffering, no pain, WELL NO GAIN.
If I may, can I post a 3 step also?.
#1. hear Jesus. Acts 3:22 "For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you".
#2. submit to Jesus. James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you".
#3. Obey Jesus. 1 Samuel 15:22 "And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams".
