Interesting, you guys see the 70th week as being a 7 year period just as the other 69, which I agree. The problem I see is with the other 3.5 years, it seems your saying this is an indefinite period?

who do you see as being Daniels people?

We believe the second 3.5 yrs were kept open to those under the Law covenant to be selected first to be those in the new covenant, over those of the nations. We believe with the conversion of Cornelious in 36 CE, the Law covenant came to it's close, and the Israel of God (Gal 6:16) was now being gathered from people of all tribes, nations, peoples, and tongues (Rev 5:9,10) into the new covenant.

So in answer to your second question, Daniel was a Jew by birth, and his people during his life were also natural Jews, as well as proselytes who had joined with them in worshipping Jehovah. Technically it is still the same, only now Jehovah's people are made up more of people of the nations than natural Jews.

Did he mean that Christians had already preached in India, the Far East, Africa, Spain, Gaul, Britain, the Baltics, and Pytheas’ Thule? That seems unlikely, but we cannot say for sure.
- Paul mentioned plans to preach in Spain(Rom. 15:24,28).

- Aristobulus(Rom. 16:10) preached in Glastonbury, Britain, and was martyred there.

- Simon the Zealot was crucified and buried in Glastonbury, Britain

- Paul preached in Britain. It is often overlooked by Orthodox Christianity that Paul had a two-fold commission. Jesus stated in Acts 9:15 that Paul was also to preach to Israelites. By the 1st century A.D., the descendants of the northern kingdom were mostly located in western Europe.

- James Alphaeus went to Spain, Britain, and Ireland.

- Thomas went as far east as India. It is possible that he may have also gone into China since there were apparently Sabbath keepers there for several centuries after Christ's ascension.

This isn't meant to be an exhaustive list of where everyone went after Jesus' ascension, but there is plenty of historical proof or evidence that the apostles and other ministers had scattered as far west as Britain, as far south as northern Africa, and as far as east as China.

We really do not know sir, but we do know that Paul was satisfied that at that time we had preached the good news of the Kingdom to all creation under heaven.
