Dave, that is your view and it does not line up with the Dan.9:26b prophecy. The end of the war in this half verse prophecy is still ongoing as the Book of Revelation indicates.

Now your charge that I am making out that the Antichrist is Jesus is something that I have never posted here or anywhere else. You are presenting a false argument to bolster your views with untruths.

Keraz, I'd be MORE than happy to walk a discussion through this 9th Chapter of Daniel to see EXACTLY what both the Scriptures and History have to say, but your assumptions are so far removed from the TRUTH, I can't imagine you have the flexibility to have that discussion.

I assume nothing in this issue. It is quite plain that 69 weeks, that is 483 years have passed of the 70 weeks decreed. We still await the final 7 year period. A modern fulfilment.
Typically, your reply contains rude accusations. Remember that everyone will be called to account for their words and actions.

My perspective is that the 483 years ended at Jesus' death. Then; a gap of nearly 2000 years, which is prophesied and has happened.
The final 7 years of this era will be divided into halves, the first half peaceful, in the second -the world will be under the control of the Anti-Christ and the Trumpets and Bowls of the Great Tribulation will take place.
