You were asked to show how the above has any relation to what is written in Matthew 24:1-2. Can you do that? No one asked you to quote John 2:19-22 again. They're asking you to show how you come to the conclusion that John 2:19-22 is about the same thing as Matthew 24:1-2 (Mark 13:1-2, Luke 21:5-6).
John 2:19-22, Matthew 24:1-2, Mark 13:1-2, Luke 21:5-6) are all addressing the destruction of a temple, all instances see Jesus Christ standing before a temple of literal stone in Jerusalem, and the scripture below gives the very clear interpretation

Problem: You and many others have a pre-determined bias in a literal 70AD destruction of a temple of stone in Jerusalem, and your bias wants to see this applied to the referenced verses in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and you desire to give complete disregard to the simple interpretation in scripture given below in John 2:18-22

Conclusion: Predetermined Bias, Unwilling to receive the very simple interpretation in scripture given in John 2:18-22 below

(Destroy This Temple)

(But He Spake Of The Temple Of His Body)

John 2:18-22KJV
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

When Jesus referenced "these great buildings" in Mark 13:2, what do you think He was referring to there exactly?

Jesus was referring to the very same temple in Mark 13:2 that he was standing in front of when confronting the Jews in John 2:18-22

Your not going to change the simple interpretation that's before your eyes

Yes, but that was a different occasion and you won't find anything in Mark 13 or Matthew 24 or Luke 21 that says He was calling the temple buildings His body. He said the temple buildings standing at that time would be destroyed and that is exactly what happened in 70 AD. It's foolish to deny this. Yes, He also spoke of the temple of His body but that does not mean there was no physical temple building as well. Their physical temple buildings and their city were destroyed just as Jesus prophesied they would be because of having rebelled against God by not accepting the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ.

And he never will. He expects us to believe that there are no prophecies regarding the destruction of the physical temple buildings in Jerusalem. He doesn't seem to understand that John 2:19-22 is not part of the Olivet Discourse and has no relation to it whatsoever.

No prophecy was given by Jesus Christ regarding a temple being destroyed in a 70AD Jerusalem

Thanks for your confirmation.

You believe that Matthew is really saying:
Matthew 21:12
And Jesus went into His body of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in His body...

1. Why did Jesus go into His body again? He was already in it.
2. How did they get into His body to sell and buy in it? Did they sneak in while He was sleeping?

Such is the "spiritual discernment" of hyperspiritualized gnosis.

I don’t think it’s a predetermined bias. I would say they are using the prescribed method of determining how something is fulfilled, which is found in Matthew 11:2-6. John’s disciples were told by Jesus to show John the things they saw and heard. That’s the method they were to use to know whether Jesus was the one to come or if they should look for another. That’s the method used to determine if Jesus fulfilled the scriptures.

We can look and see what happened in history to know whether the physical destruction of the temple at Jerusalem fulfilled scripture or if we should look for another. I can see your using John 2:18-22, but why are you not using the Matthew 11:2-6 method to determine what’s been fulfilled?

Matthew 11:2-6 below has absolutely "Nothing" to do with explaining whether a destruction of the Jerusalem Temple is literal or symbolic "Nothing", however John 2:18-22 below does show its "Symbolic", simple and very easy to understand, before your eyes

Matthew 11:2-6KJV
2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?
4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Matthew 11:2-6 shows what Jesus said about determining if something is fulfilled or not. You are comparing scripture with scripture when using John 2:18-22, which guides us on how to interpret but that’s not how we determine if something is fulfilled or not. Matthew 11:2-6 is the example of how to determine if something is fulfilled or not.

Problem: You and many others have a pre-determined bias in using John 2:18-22 to disallow a literal 70AD destruction of a temple of stone in Jerusalem, and your bias wants to spiritualize the referenced verses in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and you desire to give complete disregard to the simple interpretation in scripture given as to how to determine if something is fulfilled in Matthew 11:2-6.

Conclusion: Predetermined Bias, Unwilling to receive the very simple method of determining if something is fulfilled which is given in Matthew 11:2-6.

The very scripture below clearly interprets itself, Jesus stated (Destroy This Temple) as he stood before a temple of stone in Jerusalem, and the temple to be destroyed was the Lord's body, not a temple of stone, the scripture below was fulfilled in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ "Long Ago"

Jesus Is The Lord

Does Jesus State (Destroy This Temple) 100% Yes!

Does The Scripture State (But He Spake Of The Temple Of His Body) 100% Yes!

Does The Scripture Below Show That The Temple To Be Destroyed Was The Lord's Body And Not A Tempe Of Literal Stone 100% Yes!

When He said "these great buildings" would be destroyed (Mark 13:1-2), He was clearly talking about the temple buildings standing at that time and they were destroyed just as He said they would be. And it happened in 70 AD. It's ridiculous to deny this.

Nobody is arguing against the temple being Jesus’ body in John 2:18-22. You can point that out a hundred times, everyone agrees. The problem occurs when you put that symbolism into another verse.

In Matthew 13:38 the parable of the weeds is explained and the field is the world. In Matthew 24:18 it says neither let him which is in the field return back to get his clothes.

Using your method of interpretation we can know for certain that Matthew 24:18 should be understood as people needing to flee the planet in a spaceship and not return to get their clothes.

Hieron, the word for temple found in Matthew 24, refers to the temple building. Its use is not for a spiritual temple.

Thayers.
ἱερόν is employed in the N. T. either explicitly of the whole temple, Matthew 12:6; Matthew 24:1; Mark 13:3; Luke 21:5; Luke 22:52; Acts 4:1; Acts 24:6; Acts 25:8; 1 Corinthians 9:13, etc.; or so that certain definite parts of it must be thought of, as the courts, especially where Jesus or the apostles are said to have gone up, or entered, 'into the temple,' to have taught or encountered adversaries, and the like, 'in the temple,

So I don’t get how you are getting Matthew 24 to mean a spiritual temple?
