A Doxology is reserved for God. Below we see the Triune God mentioned in the Doxologies and opening of some of the N.T. letters. The NT declares that honor and glory are due to God alone. Some doxologies only mention Christ which speaks volumes about what the Apostles thought about Him and His Glory as God. The clear fact is Jesus receives the identical glory that the Father receives. These passages also make it abundantly clear of Christ’s pre existence and glory prior to creation(see John 17:5 below). He is therefore eternal just as the Father is eternal. Jesus received the Worship and Glory while on the earth and in Revelation receives the same honor,glory,praise and worship the Father receives in heaven. Jesus must be God Incarnate !


2 Tim 4:18
18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Phil 4:20
20 Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Gal 1:3-5
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be the glory forevermore. Amen.

Eph 3:16-21
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Praying to Christ because He is God otherwise the Apostles are guilty of Idolatry and breaking the Lords commandments to have no other gods before Me sayeth the Lord.

God alone is addressed this way in Scripture. Christ is God .Hebrews 1:8-10, Titus 2:13, 2 Peter 1:1, John 20:28, 1 John 5:20.

LOL. It's so funny how you keep overlooking the Lord's prayer along with so much of the Bible. Never does Jesus say to pray to him. In v14, your own reference quotes Jesus in what will happen in asking him. Does such sharing of being God apply to all who say they will do what you ask them? If not, why not?

Among the many completely unfounded things you say, is the penchant to ignore verses that destroy your premise. Consider v1 before getting to v 14, “Trust in God, and trust also in me."

Such juxtaposition is determinative. When it is convenient for your dogma, you use the word "Father" AS IF it is not a synonym for the only true God that Jesus speaks of. IF "the Father" was invoked and never was "God" juxtaposed with Jesus, there might be some linguistic validity to your claims. Here in v1, Jesus invokes the name, not of 'the Father,' but 'God.' What purpose does it serve for Jesus to tell us to believe in 2 Beings (God, in his wholeness, as well as himself)?

I suspect if Jesus only said here to trust in God, you would claim that is Jesus referring to himself. But you cannot make this claim here. The 1st Being is the principal, the 2nd Being is the agent.

Then one must stumble upon v 10 enroute to reading v14, The words I speak are not my own. Again, such words of Jesus completely destroy your claim that Jesus receives the identical glory that God receives. The man is not even speaking his own words. This reveals subservience.

Finally, v13 explains WHY Jesus will do what he is asked, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. That is, so Jesus can bring glory to God, in juxtaposition to himself. Profound.

I look for Choir members who only sing to the LORD. You can see it in their faces. No way can you FAKE that.
Most just sing to impress their audience, so disappointing.
