Romans 7:6 (NASB)
But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
‘that we serve in newness of the Spirit’
Let me change one word here and see if it has a ring of truth in it?
‘that we serve in newness of the relationship’
For this is the truth being pointed at, one is to no longer serve God with a check list of do’s and don’ts.. But serve Him in a living heart or living life to life relationship...
This, in the Spirit, that is being spoken of, is a real relationship where both the believer and Him meet in the innermost being of the heart and life... There is a constant communication between the one and the other...
For the heart has to be taught to hear the peace of Christ in the inner most being where He has come to make His abode, which is His constant speaking voice in the believer....
This newness of Spirit, is the worshipping of Him in Spirit and truth... This one and one relationship the heart tastes with it’s Creator... Feeding this relationship, giving up all that this relationship might grow.... Making this new life that has been born in one the all of one’s existence... Is the life that will know that one has met their Creator and this relationship only gets richer, more joyful, more real and living, the more one gives themselves up to this relationship...
For He is not a distant God, but one that has promised to come to make His abode in the one that asks....
Be blessed all in that relationship that has a great and greater reward...
We serve the law of faith The letter of the law the written word kills .The two must be mixed to create one new perfect law grace. The old leads the new revelals salvation from within.
The perfect the just and justifier .Apart form each other death
The Law of Jesus (that of faith) has a far higher bar than the law of Moses written on stone.....hmmmm, did Moses write that?
Not higher but equal mixing the two.
The Law of Moses is called the letter of the law “death” It is the law of God. Moses is used as a metaphor
Moses is signified as the law giver and is used in parables in that way.
For instance Moses who typifies the letter of the law "death". He is shown as not entering the promise land because he struck the Rock twice . Another reference showing the writen law will not enter is not one jot or tittle will be removed from the letter of the law (scripture) until the last day under the Sun.
The second the death. The death of death it will not be part of the new heavens and earth.(no Bible or written law ) The law of faith the unseen eternal must be mixed with the letter the temporal . . . together making one new perfect law out of two . . salvation
Equal! hmmmmm, consider the following:
“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old, ‘Thou shalt not kill,’ and ‘Whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment.’
But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, ‘Raca,’ shall be in danger of the council; but whosoever shall say, ‘Thou fool,’ shall be in danger of hell fire. Matt. 5:21-22
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. Matt. 5:27-30
What I meant by equal is they work together to create one new or perfect or complete law .The law of the lord is the work of God .The just and justifier of our new born again faith. Apart from each other there is no law .
The Holy Spirit demonstrated that law at Calvary with our invisible father. The unseen strength of the law the just one mixied with the Son of man, Jesus the weaker powerless vessel . Two working mutually together as one God No Father no Son. Again both the just and the justfier of our new born agin faith .Both having thier respective place in creating one new law.
The law converts the soul as a work of God. converting the soul working to make us simple ones wise, with the wisdom of the law, working to rejoice our new hearts.Many works attbritued to the perfect law .
Psalm 19 :7- 11 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Not one jot or tittle wil be removed untill the last day under the Sun. .. the propmise of the perfect law a new incoruptible body .
I hear what you are saying but you cannot remove The Spirit from the equation, for it is Only by being born again in the Spirit, the Newness of the spirit.
It is very dangerous to change the word to try and meet your understanding. It is much better to change your understanding to match the bible
If it doesn’t have a ring of truth, go with what the peace of Christ is teaching you...
