The gospel message is in the death and resurrection of Christ. This is the message of the cross. With out knowing and understanding this, the gospel message is null and void to the hearer. Romans 10: 14-17. This whole chapter needs to be read in context.

Daily mental persuasion that blood > sin = saved?

According to Rom 10:9 we need confession with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead before we are saved.

Confession with mouth that Jesus is Lord = 1. Agreement with all He taught. 2. Full submission to Him and His ways. 3. Public stand for Him.

Believe in our heart that a man who walked the earth is God of the universe = Only possible if it is revealed to us Matt 16:16-17 and 1 Cor 12:3.
Jesus taught the Law. Are those under grace under the law?

Do you see that what Jesus taught under the law to be the same as grace?

Can you see that Jesus gave Paul the message of grace and it was not that we are saved by what we do but by faith in the shed blood of Jesus that paid for all the sins of mankind. Salvation is the work of God and He has finished that work. Don't you believe it?

Mankind's works can not bring about salvation. Mankind can only be saved by faith in the work of God (Jesus).

But I see that this discussion has lost it's way in that the OP facts are no longer mentioned

I'm still not quite sure, where you see the contradiction.

Have a look at how Jesus taught the law: saying it’s not what goes into the mouth that makes people unclean, but what comes out of it; saying the Sabbath was made for men and not the other way around, summarizing the law under the two great commandments …
Surely if we truly believe in Him it follows that we’ll at least try to act according to His spirit when it comes to interpret the law in light of these two comandments. Otherwise our belief would just be an empty lip-service. But of course being merely human, we’ll still get things wrong. Hence the cross, which manifests God’s grace.

There is a difference in trying to do the right things and claiming that you always do the right things. Those that make a great show of saying a person has to keep commandments and always do the right things are insinuating that they keep commandments and always do the right things. It is a form of boasting and makes God a liar when He said that all men sin.

Every child of God tries to do the right things but they are not hypocrites always accusing others of sin when they know they sin too. It is the very fact that they know they still sin in the flesh that makes them love Jesus the more for His work on the cross.
