Why I Backed a Kickstarter Effort to Redesign the Bible


It may help people to understand scripture if a huge volume becomes less daunting. As long as they keep "son of God" and such text in this version, it will be a good start to "new" version I guess.

Eh, sounds like shrinking it or enlarging it will include someone's bias really easy. Their bias may be the correct interpretation, but eh.... Let's not call it a bible if it's too far removed from exactly how the books are designed now.

As long as it's faithful to the original Greek and Hebrew texts, why not.

I'm hoping the library here will carry these. Or have them available via Inter-Library loan, so that I can review them without the cost.

Let me guess. In your version of the Bible, all the writings of Paul are omitted and he is made out to be a fraud.
