they send themselves there Don’t blame Jesus, He paid their debt, they rejected his gift.
I'd disagree. All who were not found written in the Lamb's book of life will be tossed into the lake of fire. It's done to them, decreed by God.

It will be righteous and true judgment.

Much love!

Nope. Hell is punitive but it's punitive for the purpose of correction. It is also purifying, restorative, and a temporary process.
Hold on.

You are the one who connected the lake of fire with torture. Is it or isn't it?

Much love!

They're blind and lost. God fixes them.
They chose not to be "fixed". So you are saying God forces His will on them through the mechanism of torturing them until they submit to Him.

You have to decide which is true. Gratuitous torture, or suffering with a purpose.

Much love!

Now you're being rhetorical to win an argument.

My point is. They had a way out. So by rejecting their way out. They in fact send themselves there.

Thats in error

They are purified by the cross. If they reject the cross. They remain dead.

There are countless verses that describe God as a refiner. God tests (torments) us in this life and those that choose Jesus are saved from Hell fire. Those that don't go to Hell but it's for a period of time or for an "age".

Mark 9:49 esv
For everyone will be salted with fire.

Yep. God refines

He refines those that are his.

But those who are not his, he will cast into our darkness.
