A SURVEY OF DISPENSATIONALISM

Dispensationalism of what denominations teach today is very new. It can only be traced back to the 1800s.

I dont get why dispensationalism is refuted because it developed recently. Why dont people attack Luther because he expounded faith only, which was novel for it's time. Why is someone attacked for revealing unexamined truth from the Bible?
Dont overlook Paul was persecuted because he revealed something new
