That is not what is being alluded to Kriss.Ill try to explain They were telling Jesus about how glorious the temple was, and Jesus says to them not one stone will be left on another one. When will this be?- said the disciples. We know when this was, and it was 70 AD.But jesus explaining it said---;When you see the AOD---OR Jerusalem surrounded by armies, KNOW that that desolation is near.So flee, because these are days of vengeance (GT), and the nation will be exiled---and Jerusalem trampled--until those times are fulfilled...and then the end will come.Any first century listener would have seen this come true ,and thought that was what Jesus meant, as the walls came tumbling down and the people were exiled. Those times of exile would be fulfilled, and it appears they have. So, what now?We have the Jews being exiled again at the sight of their desolation, to be dispersed again ?If you expect this to happen, you might be caught sleeping.Dont be surprised if Jesus suddenly appears before you think he will....
I understand what you are saying Jeff I just do not agree that way of interpting scripture that is what I do not agree with I am a dispensationalists The way of interpting you are following was why Rev. and Daniel was never really understood. And why there are so many disagreements because the old way didnt fit the facts. It was not met to be understood until this last gen. Knowledge has increased and now it is revealed to usWhat your discribing is Not the abomination of desolation it was a type the Bible is full of them. This has clearly never happened as described, it has not occured and will not until mid week of the tribulationDan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily [sacrifice], and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. This army is on Satan's part. Remember in Mark 13:14 where Jesus said, "But when ye shall see the Abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,)
then let them that be in Judea flee to the mountains:" This is it.When does this occur Mar 13:14 ¶ But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: Mar 13:15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter [therein], to take any thing out of his house: Mar 13:16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. Mar 13:17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Mar 13:18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. Mar 13:19 For [in] those days shall be affliction,
such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. Mar 13:20
And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. This has never happened Mar 13:23
But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, This means after the tribulation of Antichrist then comes the7th trumpthat is the coming of the Lord with his army to meet Antichrist in the valley of Armaggedon. This is Gods Wrath poured out Not on the believers but on Antichrist/Satan and his army Daniel 12:9 "And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are
closed up and sealed till the time of the end." The "time of the end" started in 1948 when Israel was established as a nation. The visions of Daniel are for you,
