Are we "saved by preaching" by another man or not?

Rom. 10:13-15

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"

Are you serious??? You are taking one verse out of context and building your personal doctrine on it. You're a rest-of-the-Bible skipper!
No, I am a "Bible order" buff.

You can't ignore the order which it was placed in book form.

It was not by accident.

Gospels first to sinners.

Acts to tell sinners how to be saved.

Epistles to instruct saved saints that obeyed Acts.

The Acts skipper gives sinners the gospel, skips Acts and gives sinners the saints' epistles.

This is letter theft.

Right.

Now that you know that preaching by another man, saves.

Baptism administered by another man, saves.

Even Peter was commanded to remit sins.

Again...

We repent.

The church baptizes us.

God fills us.

3 involved in the salvation process.

No man is an island.

Yes and that is when they are born-again.

I'm guessing that Truther has never read John 3:16...

"For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." NET

You are preaching a false gospel. How will anybody know to be baptised unless they are born again?

In preaching Jesus, water baptism is preached...

Acts 8:34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
[35] Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
[36] And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Preaching by man does not save! It opens the door for the Spirit to make Christ known.

Salvation is a choice. Man will accept or reject that calling by the Spirit.

Nor has Truther read the sequal to John 3:16?...

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;...

Correcting Paul this morning?

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Man is not an intricat part of the salvation process?

There is one sequel to John 3:16 (John3:17, "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.")

Do you even know what a sequel is? (And how it is spelled?)

BTW, why are you now referring to yourself in the third person?

Well don't you think that one has to repent in order to have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. And it is by that repentance and turning to God that we are washed in the blood of the Lamb.

“ Turning to God” *Is* Repentance ......It is “THAT” that got you Saved .....FAITH is what Saves, and Faith is Believing and Acting on a Promise Of God......You Believed a Promise Of God....That Promise is “ Turn to Me and I will Turn to you”......THAT is what got you Saved.....( you were probably unaware of that Specific Promise..... it makes no difference)

Saving Repentance is NOT Turning “ FROM” Sins, it’s Turning “ TO” God........Do the Latter to get Saved and the Former ( with the help of the Holy Spirit ) will take care of itself as God Works THROUGH you —- “ God Himself will make you Strong so that you will endure to the end and Jesus will present you as Blameless” .....” He will Finish the Work That He started!”......

Sorrow for sin....regret for sin —- THAT type of ‘ repentance” can lead to a Turning to God That Saves, but it is the actual “ TURNING” that Saves—- not the remorse for Sin or the Confused and Misguided thinking that makes one believe that they got Saved because they decided to “ Straighten up and fly right”...... a good thing in and of itself , but it is NOT the Plan of Salvation....

You really think Jesus was not serious here?....

You think he gave no further clarification to what it means to believe?

Do the devils believe in Jesus and confess?

Yep, so they are the entities that cannot be baptized.

Neither can Acts skippers.

You are taking that verse in the wrong perspective. If preaching saved, everyone who heard a preacher would be saved.

If you put that verse in the right perspective according to scripture you will see that preaching the Gospel opens the door for the Holy Spirit to convict and call the lost to Christ.

You have gone off the deep end!!!
Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

How did they remit folks' sins per Jesus' command?

A...administered Acts 2:38.

B...believed only.

C...nothing.

Pick one.

Just more of your one-track nonsense.

BTW, quoting from Mark 16 is a dubious practice. It is not considered to be a valid part of the Gospel of Mark, but a later addition. Have fun playing with your snakes!
