Air India Crash Investigated as Sabotage Job
Air travel is often seen as the safest way to get around. But when a disaster happens, it leaves deep scars on everyone affected.
That is what families are now dealing with after a terrible crash in India that took hundreds of lives.
Investigators have turned their attention to something they had not confirmed before. They are looking into whether the crash was caused by sabotage, reports Ziare.
“One in a Billion Event”
Before this, some people guessed sabotage was possible. But this is the first time an official confirmed it is being taken seriously.
The pilot, Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, called air traffic control right after takeoff. He shouted that the plane had no power and needed help.
Experts say both engines failing at the same time almost never happens. They called it a “one in a billion event.”
Investigators are studying whether the engines stopped because of fuel contamination.
They have the plane’s black box, which holds voice recordings and flight data. Mohol said the black box will stay in India and not be sent abroad.
He also said that all Dreamliners in the country were checked and found safe. He told travelers not to be afraid to fly.
Vishwash Ramesh later said surviving was a miracle. But he is haunted by the loss of his brother, Ajay, who died in the crash.

This plane crash may well have been sabotage given the hostilities between India and Pakistan.

This theory still has a long way to go yet before it can be established as the primary cause.

Let us be patient and not jump to the wrong conclusions.
